పాకిస్థాన్‌తో జరుగుతున్న డే/నైట్‌ టెస్టులో ఆస్ట్రేలియా విధ్వంసకర ఓపెనర్‌ డేవిడ్‌ వార్నర్‌ త్రిశతకం బాదేశాడు. అడిలైడ్‌ ఓవల్‌లో పరుగుల వరద పారించి ఆసీస్‌ దిగ్గజ ఆటగాడు బ్రాడ్‌మన్‌ (299*) రికార్డును తిరగరాశాడు. వేగంగా ఆడుతూ 335* పరుగులతో అజేయంగా నిలిచాడు. సమయం లేకపోవడం వల్ల సారథి టిమ్‌పైన్‌ తొలి ఇన్నింగ్స్‌ను 589/3 వద్ద డిక్లేర్‌ చేశాడు.

ఇన్నింగ్స్‌ డిక్లేర్‌ చేసిన తర్వాత డ్రెస్సింగ్‌ రూమ్‌కు వెళ్లే క్రమంలో ఓ చిన్నారి అభిమానికి వార్నర్‌ తన హెల్మెట్‌, గ్లోవ్స్ను కానుకగా అందించాడు. గతంలోనూ తనకోసం ఎదురుచూసే అభిమానులు, చిన్నారులకు ఈ విధంగా సర్ప్రైజ్లు ఇచ్చాడీ ఓపెనర్.

అడిలైడ్‌లో హెల్మెట్‌ను అందుకున్న చిన్నారికి ఆ ఆనందం ఎక్కువ సేపు నిలవలేదు. వెంటనే దానికోసం కొంతమంది కుర్రాళ్లు గుంపుగా మీదపడ్డారు. హెల్మెట్‌ కోసం కొట్లాడి.. ఆ పిల్లాడి చేతిలో నుంచి వాటిని లాక్కున్నారు. ఇదంతా టీవీ తెరల్లో స్పష్టంగా కనిపించింది. దొంగిలించిన పెద్ద వయసు కుర్రాళ్లపై ట్విట్టర్ వేదికగా ఫైర్‌ అయ్యారు నెటిజన్లు. ఆ చిన్నారికి న్యాయం జరిగేలా చూడాలని కోరారు.

Jurgen Klinsmann’s debut as Hertha Berlin coach ended in defeat on Saturday as 10-man Borussia Dortmund held on for a 2-1 win in the Bundesliga.
Two early goals from Jadon Sancho and Thorgan Hazard were enough for Dortmund to ease the pressure on coach Lucien Favre with his team’s first win in four games across all competitions.
Klinsmann, the former Germany, United States and Bayern Munich coach, was hired by Hertha on Wednesday to replace the fired Ante Covic, but he couldn’t prevent a fifth straight defeat.
