ట్రైలర్: 'జాను' కోసం శర్వానంద్ ఎదురుచూపులు..!
తమిళంలో సూపర్హిట్గా నిలిచిన '96' చిత్రానికి రీమేక్గా తెలుగులో 'జాను' తెరకెక్కించారు. బుధవారం ఈ సినిమా ట్రైలర్ను చిత్రబృందం విడుదల చేసింది. ఇందులో శర్వానంద్, సమంత సంభాషణలు యువతను ఆకట్టుకుంటున్నాయి.

"ఎగసి పడే కెరటాలను ఎదురు చూసే సముద్ర తీరాన్ని నేను.. పిల్లగాలి కోసం ఎదురు చూసే నల్లమబ్బులా.. ఓర చూపు కోసం.. నీతో ఒక నవ్వు కోసం.. రాత్రంతా చుక్కలు లెక్కపెడుతుంది నా హృదయం.. నా వైపు ఓ చూపు అప్పు ఇవ్వలేవా" అంటూ తన ప్రేయసి గురించి కవిత అందుకున్నాడు యువ కథానాయకుడు శర్వానంద్. ప్రేమ్‌కుమార్‌ దర్శకత్వంలో సమంతతో కలిసి అతడు కీలక పాత్రలో నటించిన చిత్రం 'జాను'. తమిళ సూపర్‌హిట్‌ '96'కు రీమేక్గా తెరకెక్కిన ఈ చిత్ర ట్రైలర్ను బుధవారం విడుదల చేసింది చిత్రబృందం. యువ హృదయాలను ఆకట్టుకునేలా, భావోద్వేగాల సన్నివేశాలతో సినిమాను తీర్చిదిద్దినట్లు ట్రైలర్ను చూస్తే అర్థమవుతోంది.
"ఒక్కోసారి జీవితంలో ఏమీ జరగకపోయినా, ఏదో జరగబోతోందని మనసుకు మాత్రం ముందే తెలిసిపోతుంది" అని చెప్పిన సమంతకు, "పది నెలలు మోసి కన్న మీ అమ్మకు నువ్వు సొంతమైతే, ఇన్నాళ్లుగా మనసులో మోస్తున్న నాకు కూడా నువ్వు సొంతమే" అంటూ శర్వానంద్ చెప్పిన డైలాగ్‌ ఆకట్టుకుంటోంది. ఇప్పటికే చిత్రీకరణ పూర్తి చేసుకున్న 'జాను' ఫిబ్రవరి 7న ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకు రానుంది. శ్రీ వెంకటేశ్వర క్రియేషన్స్‌ పతాకంపై దిల్‌రాజు నిర్మిస్తుండగా, గోవింద్‌ వసంత్‌ స్వరాలు సమకూరుస్తున్నారు.

"We have a good sector here, a sustainable sector, a responsible sector, and we feel that there is that underlying threat that we could be sacrificed once again in order to give other sectors of the UK a better trade deal. So until the deal is actually done there is that large apprehension among the fishing industry."

"European vessels have been fishing in those waters forever. The Vikings would have dragged a net behind their long boats when they came over a thousand years ago. There has never been a time when European vessels haven't been there. So, not surprisingly, the Dutch and the French and others are saying we want this to continue, I mean 'historically, it's our right'. And British fishermen are going to have to accept that so long as they are selling 70% of all the fish they catch into the European continental market, their bargaining power is not that great."

"When I look at the fisheries agreement itself, I've actually just had it to confirmed this morning that come, hopefully the first of January 2021, the fishing industry outside the door here and Kilkeel will be like the fishing industry throughout the rest of the United Kingdom and that we are leaving the EU, we are leaving the Common Fisheries Policy. These will be UK registered fishing vessels, fishing in UK waters, catching UK fish."

STORYLINE:
As Brexit day approaches, the peaceful coastal fishing ports of the United Kingdom could find themselves at the forefront of a new battle with the European Union.
When it comes to British-European Union relations, there is nothing like slapping a fish around.
After all, both sides have been fighting over who rules their waves just about as long as the United Kingdom became a member in 1973.
So it comes as little surprise that as soon as the United Kingdom officially leaves the EU Friday night, they will put the comparatively tiny industry of fisheries as one of the first things to fight over during their negotiations on a post-divorce relationship.
The broad promise of Brexit always was to regain control and there is a physical sense of control when a 200-nautical mile zone will be set for the UK, instead of the 12-mile zone now.
"The UK should determine what level of access from EU boats is allowed in. It shouldn't be a free for all just because they've been there for years and years. The rules have changed, and we're taking back control of our own waters," said Brian Chambers, who owns the "Boy Paul" with his brother and mainly fishes off the coast of Ireland and the Isle of Man for crab and scallops. He voted Leave.
For just about all of Britain's membership, stocks from North Sea cod to English Channel sole were in decline.
Every coastal member state wanted to catch as much fish as possible despite the dwindling stocks and scientific warnings.
The EU forced boats to stay in ports and restricted quotas, limiting access to fish.
For British fishermen, it was obvious to point fingers at foreign vessels and EU headquarters in Brussels, something UK's Prime Minister Boris Johnson campaigned against in the elections.
Brexiteers have thrived for years on similar words of perceived wrongdoing by faceless bureaucrats impeding age-old British sovereignty.
And no one has targeted that nationalist gut more effectively than Nigel Farage, who has been driving the UK towards the EU's exit door for decades, mostly from the hallowed halls of the European Parliament itself.
"Perhaps it many ways, fisheries is the acid test of Brexit," said Nigel Farage, the British politician who has been the prime driver of moving the UK towards the EU's exit door for two decades.
Sure, industry and financial services are much more important in economic terms, but somehow fish 'n chips in Britain and Sole Meuniere on the continent cuts to the heart of everyone.
"We have to remember that the car industry and the chemicals industry along in the United Kingdom are worth twenty times as much as the fishing industry. So when the European Union says it insists on trade being taken into account, then the Prime Minister should recognize that there are tens of thousands of jobs in other industrial sectors that are dependent on access to the European markets. So Brussels negotiators are in a very strong position. I can't see how the UK government is going to get what it wants," said Chris Davies, an English Liberal Democrat MEP who is head of the EU's fisheries committee until he leaves on Friday.
Somehow, it doesn't ring right in Kilkeel, Northern Ireland, where the grudge against the EU's fishing policies that allow vessels from other EU nations to catch stocks in the rich UK waters runs as deep as in other UK ports.
The community voted 'Leave' in the referendum and are now cautiously optimistic that the conservative government will deliver on their promise.
"We are leaving the Common Fisheries Policy. These will be UK registered fishing vessels, fishing in UK waters, catching UK fish," said Alan McCulla, the CEO of the local ANIFPO fishing cooperative.
McCulla believes Northern Ireland fishermen will also benefit from open access to the EU market following the October agreement between the UK and the EU that prevents a hard border on the island of Ireland.
"I'll be able to trade freely into the Irish Republic, which means I'm free to really enter the European Union. And probably in that sense, we're starting off from a better wicket," McCulla said.
