చిరంజీవి 'సైరా' చిత్రానికి ఎడిటింగ్​ సమస్య!

మెగాస్టార్​ చిరంజీవి నటించిన సైరా చిత్రం ప్రస్తుతం ఎడిటింగ్ జరుపుకుంటోంది. నిడివి ఎక్కువ ఉన్న కారణంగా దర్శకుడు సురేందర్ రెడ్డి మల్లగుల్లాలు పడుతున్నాడంట. అనవసర సీన్లు తొలగించేందుకు మెగాస్టారే రంగంలోకి దిగినట్టు సమాచారం.

మెగాస్టార్ చిరంజీవి నటిస్తున్న సైరా చిత్రం ఇటీవల షూటింగ్ పూర్తి చేసుకున్న విషయం తెలిసిందే. ప్రస్తుతం ఎడిటింగ్ జరపుకుంటున్న ఈ సినిమా నిడివి ఎక్కువ ఉందంట. ఎంత కత్తిరిస్తున్నా 3 గంటల 30 నిముషాలకు ఏ మాత్రం తగ్గట్లేదంట. ఈ విషయంపై దర్శకుడు సురేందర్​ రెడ్డి మల్లగుల్లాలు పడుతున్నట్టు సమాచారం.

ఇందుకోసం స్వయంగా చిరంజీవే రంగంలోకి దిగాడంట. ఆయన ప్రస్తుతం సినిమాను పదే పదే వీక్షిస్తూ.. అనవసరమనుకున్న సీన్లను కట్‌ చేసే పనిలో బిజీగా ఉన్నాడంట. ఏదేమైనా చివరగా.. రన్‌టైమ్​ను 3 గంటల లోపే ఉండేలా నిర్దేశించుకున్నట్టు సమాచారం. ఇప్పుడీ పని పూర్తయితే గానీ, గ్రాఫిక్స్​ పనులు మొదలు పెట్టడం కుదరదు. అక్టోబరు 2కు రెండు నెలలే ఉన్న నేపథ్యంలో అనుకున్న సమయానికి చిత్రం విడుదలవుతుందా లేదా అనేది వేచి చూడాలి.

"Yesterday President Juncker spoke to Prime Minister Boris Johnson on the phone. President Juncker listened to what Prime Minister Johnson had to say and reiterated the EU's position that the withdrawal agreement is the best and only agreement possible in line with the European Council guidelines."

"So first of all on the readout of the call between President Juncker and Prime Minister Johnson yesterday. In terms of the content of that call, President Juncker congratulated Prime Minister Johnson on his appointment and reaffirmed what he had said previously, his commitment to working together in the best possible way. He also underlined the Commission remains at the United Kingdom's disposal to add language to the political declaration in line with what the 27 EU leaders recalled when they met in April earlier this year, and to analyse any ideas put forward by the UK providing they are compatible with the withdrawal agreement. And as you rightly say they exchanged numbers and they agreed to remain in touch. There have not been to my knowledge any contacts since, but President Juncker did reiterate that the Commission remains available over the weeks to come, should the United Kingdom wish to hold talks and clarify its position in more detail."

"Right so we take note of the statement by the British Prime Minister, and as you rightly say, as long as the United Kingdom is an EU member state, it has all of the rights and all of the obligations of the member state, and according to the EU legal framework the Commission consists of a number of members equal to the number of member states. So in other words the Commission is composed of one Commissioner per member state, but our working assumption is that the United Kingdom is leaving the EU on 31 October, and we've also noted Prime Minister Johnson's commitment in this respect. So in that case the UK would not need to have a member in the next college of commissioners."

"That's an 'if' scenario and we we are quite allergic to those here, that's not our working assumption, our working assumption is that the UK is leaving on 31 October of this year and we haven't heard anything to the contrary. If and when these things should occur, this a bridge that we will cross when we come to it."

STORYLINE:
The European Commission reiterated Friday that the Brexit withdrawal agreement will not be reopened.
Spokesperson Natasha Bertaud said outgoing Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker told Britain's new Prime Minister Boris Johnson that the existing deal is "the best and only agreement possible."
Juncker and Johnson spoke by phone late Thursday after Johnson took over from Theresa May as Britain's leader.
Johnson has insisted that the current agreement to leave the EU, and arrangements regarding the Irish border, were not good enough and had to be renegotiated.
Bertaud said Friday that Juncker had said he remains at the disposal of the United Kingdom to add language to a political text on future relations and to analyse any ideas put forward by the United Kingdom, providing they are compatible with the withdrawal agreement.
Bertaud added that Juncker expressed willingness to meet Johnson over the coming weeks, should the United Kingdom wish to hold talks to clarify its position in more detail.
