మానవత్వం చాటిన దర్శక దంపతులు

కన్నబిడ్డను పెంచే స్థోమత లేదో లేక ఆడపిల్ల పుట్టిందన్న కోపమో తెలీదు కాని ముక్కు పచ్చలారని ఓ పసికందును చెత్తకుప్పలో వదిలేసి వెళ్లిపోయిందో కర్కశ తల్లి. ఆ పసిబిడ్డ రోదనకు చలించిన బాలీవుడ్​ దర్శకుడు వినోద్​ కాప్రి దంపతులు... ఆ పసికందును దత్తత తీసుకొనేందుకు ముందుకొచ్చారు.

రాజస్థాన్‌లోని ఓ ప్రాంతంలో పసికందును చెత్తకుప్పలో వదిలేసి వెళ్లిన ఘటన చోటు చేసుకుంది. దుర్వాసన మధ్య ఏడుస్తోన్న ఆ చిన్నారి వీడియో తీసి నెట్టింట పోస్టు చేశారు స్థానికులు. అది కాస్తా సోషల్​ మీడియాలో వైరల్​ అయింది. వెంటనే స్పందించిన సీనియర్​ పాత్రికేయుడు, బాలీవుడ్​ దర్శకుడైన వినోద్​ కాప్రి దంపతులు ఆ పసికందును స్వీకరించేందుకు సిద్ధమయ్యారు.

పాపకు ప్రస్తుతం ఆసుపత్రిలో చికిత్స అందిస్తున్నారు. ఆ చిన్నారికి పీహూ అని పేరుపెట్టారు. ‘'పీహూ'’ ఆయన తెరకెక్కించిన సినిమా పేరు.

" ఈ చిన్నారి దేవతతో నేను నా భార్య సాక్షి జోషి ప్రేమలో పడ్డాం. దత్తత తీసుకునే ప్రక్రియ మొదలైంది. పాప కోసం భవిష్యత్తులో ఎంతో చేయాల్సి ఉంది. పాప ఇంకా మా ఇంట్లో అడుగుపెట్టలేదు. అన్నీ అనుకున్నట్లు జరిగాక మిగిలిన విషయాలు మాట్లాడతాను".

హైదరాబాద్​లో పుట్టిన వినోద్​ కాప్రి.. 2014లో ఆయన తెరకెక్కించిన 'కాంట్​ టేక్​ దిస్​ షిట్​ ఎనీమోర్​' అనే లఘు చిత్రానికి జాతీయ అవార్డు గెలుచుకున్నారు. పదేళ్లకు పైగా జర్నలిస్టుగా పలు సంస్థల్లో అనుభవమున్న ఆయన... గతేడాది పీహూ చిత్రంతో ప్రేక్షకులను మెప్పించారు.

STORYLINE:
Istanbul mayoral candidate Ekrem Imamoglu has cast his vote in the re-run election.
Imamoglu narrowly defeated ruling party candidate Binali Yildirim in the March 31 vote.
He served as mayor for nearly three weeks before Turkey's electoral board threw out the results and ordered a rerun as requested by the government, on the grounds that some officials overseeing the vote were not civil servants as required by law.
In a hard-fought campaign, Imamoglu focused on urban poverty after the country slid into recession at the end of 2018.
