ఇటీవలే విడుదలైన చిత్రలహరి సినిమాపై మెగాస్టార్ చిరంజీవి ప్రశంసల జల్లు కురిపించారు. కిశోర్ తిరుమల మంచి దర్శకత్వ ప్రతిభ కనబరిచాడని చెప్పారు. హీరోగా నటించిన తేజ్ పరిణితి చెందిన నటనతో ఆకట్టుకున్నాడని తెలిపారు. సంగీత దర్శకుడు దేవీశ్రీప్రసాద్ మరోసారి మైమరిపించాడన్నారు. ఓ చక్కటి సందేశాత్మక చిత్రాన్ని అందించారని నిర్మాతలను ప్రశంసించారు.

"The Sudanese revolution has been led by four political forces, they have made a political declaration called "freedom and change" in which they stated what they want. They want a civilian government for four years, a transitional civilian government for four years. They want trial of those responsible for human right violations. They are at the same time keeping the pressure on the military council by keeping their followers and supporters in the street because they fear that the revolution, if they abandoned the streets, could be hijacked like other revolutions."

"Sudan is facing many challenges. This is a country that protests were provoked by rising in prices, the price of bread jumped from one pound to three pounds, the same with fuel, very high prices. Now the revolution got rid of the regime but they don't have a solution for the economic crisis that is facing almost 50% of the population who are below poverty line, so the challenges are big. Sudan can face famine, can face tribal warfare, can face security breakdown and chaos, so this is not the end, this is not the happy ending. It is easy to get rid of a dictator. It is very difficult to get rid of dictatorship and the consequences of dictatorship."

STORYLINE:
OrganiSers of the protests in Sudan that forced long-ruling President Omar al-Bashir from office are calling on the military to "immediately and unconditionally" hand power to a transitional civilian government that would rule for four years.
Political analyst Saeed Sadek said although Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir has been removed, it does not solve Sudan's economic situation.
The challenges remain "big", even under civilian rule.
He added, "it is easy to get rid of a dictator. It is very difficult to get rid of dictatorship and the consequences of dictatorship."
The political parties and movements behind the four months of protests said in a joint statement late Saturday that they will remain in the streets until their demands are met.
They said the handover to civilian rule would be the "first step toward the fall of the regime."
The army has appointed a military council that it says will rule for two years or less while elections are being organised.
The council met with a delegation of protest organisers on Saturday.
