PM Modi US Visit : అమెరికా అధ్యక్షుడు జో బైడెన్​తో ప్రధాని నరేంద్ర మోదీ భేటీ అయ్యారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా.. బైడెన్​ దంపతులు ఇచ్చిన ఆతిథ్యాన్ని మోదీ స్వీకరించారు. అయితే పురాతన అమెరికన్‌ బుక్‌ గ్యాలీతో పాటు పాతకాలపు అమెరికన్ కెమెరాను మోదీకి బైడెన్‌ బహూకరించారు. మరోవైపు, జిల్ బైడెన్‌కు 7.5 క్యారెట్ల ఆకుపచ్చ వజ్రాన్ని ప్రధాని మోదీ కానుకగా ఇచ్చారు.

జిల్​ బైడెన్​కు కాస్ట్లీ డైమండ్​
ప్రధాని మోదీ.. అమెరికా అధ్యక్షుడికి చందనపు చెక్కతో తయారుచేసిన పెట్టెను కానుకగా ఇచ్చారు. రాజస్థాన్‌కు చెందిన కళాకారులు చేసిన ఈ పెట్టెలో గణేషుడి ప్రతిమ, వెండితో రూపొందించిన దీపపు ప్రమిద ఉన్నాయి. అమెరికా ప్రథమ మహిళ జిల్‌ బైడెన్‌కు 7.5 క్యారట్ల పచ్చ వజ్రాన్ని.. మోదీ కానుకగా అందజేశారు. ఈ 7.5 క్యారెట్ల గ్రీన్ డైమండ్‌ను అత్యాధునిక సాంకేతిక పరిజ్ఞానాన్ని ఉపయోగించి ల్యాబ్‌లో రూపొందించారు. ఒక క్యారెట్‌ తయారీకి కేవలం 0.028 గ్రాముల కార్బన్‌ను మాత్రమే విడుదలవుతుంది. దీన్ని జెమోలాజికల్‌ ల్యాబ్‌ కూడా ధ్రువీకరించింది. వజ్రానికి ఉండే నాలుగు ప్రధాన లక్షణాలైన.. కట్‌, కలర్‌, క్యారెట్‌, క్లారిటీలను కలిగి ఉంది. భూమిలో లభించే సహజమైన వజ్రం మాదిరిగానే దీనికి రసాయన, ఆప్టికల్ లక్షణాలు ఉంటాయి.

Modi America Tour : అమెరికా ప్రభుత్వ అధికారిక ఆహ్వానం మేరకు.. ఆ దేశానికి వెళ్లిన ప్రధాని మోదీ బుధవారం మధ్యాహ్నం (అమెరికా కాలమానం ప్రకారం) వాషింగ్టన్‌కు చేరుకున్నారు. న్యూయార్క్‌లోని ఐక్యరాజ్యసమితి ప్రధాన కార్యాలయంలో అంతర్జాతీయ యోగా దినోత్సవంలో పాల్గొన్న అనంతరం ఆయన అక్కడి నుంచి బయలుదేరి వాషింగ్టన్‌లో అడుగుపెట్టారు. అండ్రూస్‌ జాయింట్‌ బేస్‌ విమానాశ్రయంలో దిగిన మోదీ గౌరవ వందనం స్వీకరించారు.
