23సార్లు ఎవరెస్ట్ శిఖరం ఎక్కి నేపాలీ రికార్డు

అత్యధిక సార్లు ఎవరెస్ట్ శిఖరం అధిరోహించిన వ్యక్తిగా రికార్డు సాధించాడు నేపాలీ కమీ రీటా షెర్పా. 49 ఏళ్ల వయసులో మొత్తం 23 సార్లు పర్వతం ఎక్కి ఈ ఘనత సాధించాడు.

అత్యధిక సార్లు ఎవరెస్ట్ శిఖరం అధిరోహించి రికార్డు నెలకొల్పాడు నేపాల్​కు చెందిన కమీ రీటా షెర్పా. గతేడాది 22వ సారి ఎవరెస్ట్ ఎక్కి రికార్డు సాధించిన షెర్పా... 23వసారీ అధిరోహించి తన రికార్డును తానే బదలుకొట్టాడు. 49 ఏళ్ల కమీ... ఇతర షెర్పాలతో కలిసి 8,850 మీటర్లు ఎత్తైన శిఖరాన్ని అధిరోహించాడు.

రీటా 1994 నుంచి ఎవరెస్ట్ అధిరోహిస్తున్నాడు. 1995లో ఒకసారి తన సహచరుడి ఆరోగ్యం సహకరించకపోవటం వల్ల విఫలమయ్యాడు. అదే ఏడాది మరోసారి ప్రయత్నించాడు. ప్రాణాంతక పెను హిమపాతం కొందరు యాత్రికుల ప్రాణాలు హరించటం మూలంగా ఎవరెస్ట్ అధిరోహణ విరమించుకున్నాడు.

అపా షెర్పా, ఫుర్బా షెర్పాల రికార్డు సమంచేస్తూ... 2017లో 21సార్లు ఎవరెస్ట్ అధిరోహించిన మూడో వ్యక్తిగా రికార్డు సాధించిన కమీ. 2018, 2019లో తన రికార్డును తానే తిరగరాసుకున్నాడు.
