సొంత జట్టుకు ఆడటం ప్రత్యేకం

ఐపీఎల్​లో దిల్లీ జట్టుకు ప్రాతినిధ్యం వహించడం ఎంతో ఆనందంగా ఉందని పేసర్ ఇషాంత్ శర్మ తెలిపాడు. సొంత మైదానంలో ఎన్నో జ్ఞాపకాలు ఉన్నాయని చెప్పాడు.

ఐపీఎల్​లో దిల్లీ క్యాపిటల్స్ తరఫున ఆడటం ఎంతో ప్రత్యేకమైందని పేసర్ ఇషాంత్ శర్మ అన్నాడు. తన క్రికెట్ జర్నీ మొదలైన చోటుకే తిరిగి రావడం ఆనందంగా ఉందన్నాడు. ఐపీఎల్ ప్రారంభమైనప్పటి నుంచి సొంత జట్టుకు అతడు ఆడటం ఇదే మొదటిసారి.

ఇప్పటివరకు ఐపీఎల్​లో దక్కన్ ఛార్జర్స్, కింగ్స్ ఎలెవన్ పంజాబ్, కోల్​కతా నైట్ రైడర్స్, రైజింగ్ పూణె సూపర్ జెయింట్స్, సన్ రైజర్స్ హైదరాబాద్​ తరఫున పేసర్​గా బాధ్యతలు నిర్వహించాడు.

నా వరకు వస్తే ఫిరోజ్ షా కోట్లా మైదానం కాదు. అండర్-17లో ఆడినప్పటి నుంచి నాకు ఇక్కడెన్నో మధుర జ్ఞాపకాలు ఉన్నాయి. నేనే కాదు మరెందరో నాలాంటి క్రికెటర్స్ ఇక్కడి నుంచే కెరీర్ మొదలు పెట్టి జాతీయ జట్టుకు ప్రాతినిధ్యం వహించారు --ఇషాంత్ శర్మ, భారత జట్టు బౌలర్

గతేడాది జైపూర్​లో జరిగిన ఐపీఎల్​ వేలంలో ఒక కోటి 10 లక్షల రూపాయలకు దిల్లీ జట్టు...ఇషాంత్​ను సొంతం చేసుకుంది. ఇప్పటి వరకు 76 మ్యాచ్​లాడి 58 వికెట్లు తీశాడీ బౌలర్.

మార్చి 24న తన తొలి మ్యాచ్​లో​ ముంబయి ఇండియన్స్​తో తలపడునుంది దిల్లీ క్యాపిటల్స్.

"A very unfortunate incident of course and something which was totally unexpected - not by New Zealand board but also by us. So this is something that we have never expected to happen. But now that it has happened, but we from the very beginning have been saying that such incidents can happen anywhere in the world. So, it is not only say Bangladesh or India or Pakistanis at the high risk. This can happen anywhere in the world. This is what we have been saying, today's incident has proved that, and that is why we feel that the security that countries like Bangladesh gives to other teams when they come to play in Bangladesh we should also get the similar type of security arrangements or support from the host country. So that is one thing we have to discuss, that what will be the minimum level of security that each team should get when they are travelling abroad. "

"Unimaginable. We cannot ever imagine and the Bangladesh Cricket team is our national asset. There is the World Cup coming, which is a big concern. This situation, such an incident, is sorrowful. Anyways, thousands of thanks to the Almighty (Allah) that all our players are safe and sound. All the players are safe there. Next time obviously we hope that this sort of incident never happens. We can hope for better security for the visiting country from that host country."

STORYLINE:
An international cricket match between New Zealand and Bangladesh has been cancelled after players from the visiting team narrowly avoided a mass shooting at a mosque in Christchurch on Friday.
At least 40 people were killed in the shootings at two mosques and more than 20 people were wounded.
The Bangladesh players came within minutes of being inside one of the mosques when a gunman opened fire with an automatic rifle.
A New Zealand Cricket chief executive later said there had been a joint decision to call off the third test, which had been scheduled to start Saturday in Christchurch.
