'కార్మికుల సంక్షేమం కోసం రూ.24 ఇవ్వలేరా?' - సంక్షేమ పథకాలను ఉపయోగించుకొవాలని ప్రైవేటు భద్రతా సంస్థలను.. కేంద్ర హోంమంత్రి అమిత్ షా కోరారు.
ప్రైవేటు భద్రతా సంస్థలకు లైసెన్సులు ఇవ్వడానికి ఏర్పాటు చేసిన ప్రత్యేక పోర్టల్ను అమిత్ షా ప్రారంభించారు. ప్రభుత్వం అమలు చేసే సంక్షేమ పథకాలను వినియోగించుకోవాలని సంస్థలను కేంద్ర హోంమంత్రి కోరారు.

'కార్మికుల సంక్షేమం కోసం రూ.24 ఇవ్వలేరా?' కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం అందించే సురక్ష బీమా యోజన, అటల్‌ పెన్షన్‌ యోజన వంటి సంక్షేమ పథకాలను ఉపయోగించుకోవాలని ప్రైవేటు భద్రతా సంస్థలను.. కేంద్ర హోంమంత్రి అమిత్ షా కోరారు. ప్రైవేటు భద్రతా సంస్థలకు లైసెన్సులు ఇవ్వడానికి హోంశాఖ అధీనంలో నడిచే ప్రత్యేక పోర్టల్ను అమిత్ షా దిల్లీలో మంగళవారం ప్రారంభించారు.
సెక్యురిటీ గార్డులకు జన్‌ధన్‌ ఖాతాల ద్వారా జీత భత్యాలు అందించాలని హోంమంత్రి సూచించారు. ఎన్సీసీ శిక్షణ పొందినవారికి భద్రత విషయాలపై కనీస అవగాహన ఉంటుందని.. వారిని చేర్చుకునేందుకు ప్రైవేటు భద్రతా సంస్థలు ప్రాధాన్యత ఇవ్వాలన్నారు.
దేశంలో పోలీసులు, పారామిలటరీ దళాలు కలిపి 30 లక్షల మంది ఉంటే.. ప్రైవేటు సెక్యూరిటీ గార్డులు మాత్రం 90 లక్షల మంది ఉన్నారని అమిత్ షా తెలిపారు.
"జనధన్‌ ఖాతాలను, సామాజిక సురక్షా బీమా పథకాన్ని మీరు(ప్రైవేటు సెక్యూరిటీ సంస్ధలు) ఉపయోగించుకోవాలి. జనధన్‌ ఖాతాలోనే డబ్బులు జమ చేయాలి. ఈ విషయాలపై మీరు అంతా కలిసి నిర్ణయం తీసుకోవాలి. రూ.2లక్షలకు 24 రూపాయల ప్రీమియంను కార్మికుల సంక్షేమం కోసం మీరు చెల్లించలేరా?. తమ వద్ద ఉన్న సెక్యురిటీ గార్డుకు 2లక్షల రూపాయల బీమాను తప్పక చేయిస్తానని అన్ని ప్రైవేటు సెక్యూరిటీ సంస్ధలు నిర్ణయం తీసుకోవాలి. చెమటను చిందించి మీ సంస్ధను నడిపిస్తూ, మీ వ్యాపారానికి కీలకంగా మారిన సెక్యూరిటీ గార్డుల కోసం ఏడాదికి 24 రూపాయల ప్రీమియం చెల్లించడం పెద్ద మాట కాదు. సెక్యూరిటీ గార్డు సంక్షేమం కోసం ఆలోచించాలి. కనీస వేతనం, ఆరోగ్య పరీక్షల గురించి ఆలోచించాలి. ఆరోగ్య పరిరక్షణ కోసం కేంద్రం ఆయుష్మాన్ భారత్‌ కార్డులను కూడా ఇస్తోంది. వీటి మీద అవగాహన కల్పించేందుకు మీరు కృషి చేయాలి."

LEADIN:
German Shepherds are perhaps best known for their abilities as police dogs, but breeders say the boisterous canines also make loyal and affectionate companions.
In Australia, a group of breeders is focused on improving the breed's hips and elbows, and is also trying to dispel some of the misconceptions about the dogs' temperament
STORYLINE:
These two German Shepherds are patiently waiting for their training course to start at an oval in the Australian city of Canberra.
Jenny Kenworthy is responsible for the programme here.
Once the two dogs are released from the car, they're raring to get started.
The course Kenworthy has set up consists of a series of instructions for owners, and obstacles for the dogs and puppies to negotiate.
Some need a little help, but others take it all in their stride.
As far as Kenworthy's concerned, the sooner German Shepherds can get into training, the happier their owners will be.
"We start the baby puppies when they're eight weeks old," she says.
And she adds it's not necessarily just the dogs being trained.
"They're super intelligent, but if you don't work with them, then they train you," she says.
"What you're dealing with when you're training people is you've got the dog and you've got the owner. Two sometimes completely different personalities."
Kenworthy's class takes place in Canberra on Wednesday nights, she's been training the dogs for more than 40 years.
It's a passion she shares with her longtime friend Veronica Fairbairn.
"They're beautiful to look at, they've just got such a majestic face and they get right into your heart," says Fairbairn.
More than 30 dogs come to this class, at the very beginning, some of the puppies find basic tasks hard to master.
But the dogs come to love the chance to interact with each other - and to demonstrate what they've learned on challenges like "Rally O".
"Rally O is like a gym circuit. The dog and the handler set off, and every time they come to a different sign, they have to do what that sign tells them to do," says Kenworthy.
Kenworthy and Fairbairn are also involved in breeding German Shepherds, they've made some breakthroughs here that have been picked up in the breed's homeland, Germany.
But their club is open to non-pedigree dogs too, and Fairbairn says people with crossbred German shepherds really benefit from the training.
"Because they can look like a German Shepherd people will think they're German Shepherds," she says.
German Shepherds have notoriously poor hind legs. Here in Canberra, Kenworthy and Fairbairn have been trying to breed that out.
They've also paid special attention to the animals' elbows, their work on that front has impressed breeders abroad.
"Good breeders won't use a dog that isn't genetically sound," Kenworthy explains.
And it's not just the breeding dogs that have to measure up, Fairbairn adds when finding homes for her puppies, she says the dogs' owners must be up to the task too.
"There's certain requirements - they must go to obedience classes, the dog must be allowed in the house, got to have time to walk the dog, every day, rain, hail or shine," she says.
And if they do all that, she says, they'll have a friend for life.
