కర్ణాటకలో ప్రభుత్వాన్ని కాపాడుకునే విషయంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి యడియూరప్ప గొంతుతో బయటపడ్డ ఆడియో క్లిప్పుల వ్యవహారాన్ని పరిశీలిస్తామని సుప్రీంకోర్టు తెలిపింది. ఆడియా క్లిప్పులను పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకొని.. విచారించాలని సుప్రీంకోర్టులో పిటిషన్ దాఖలు చేసింది కాంగ్రెస్.

కాంగ్రెస్ వ్యాజ్యాన్ని స్వీకరించిన జస్టిస్‌ ఎన్వీ రమణ నేతృత్వంలోని ధర్మాసనం... ఈ అంశం గతంలో కూడా తమ ముందుకు వచ్చిందని గుర్తు చేసింది. 17 మంది తిరుగుబాటు ఎమ్మెల్యేలపై అప్పటి స్పీకర్ రమేశ్ వేటు వేయడాన్ని సవాల్‌ చేసిన కేసును ప్రస్తావించింది. పిటిషన్‌పై విచారణ సందర్భంగా...ఆడియో క్లిప్పును కూడా పరిశీలించాలని కాంగ్రెస్ ఈ పిటిషన్‌లో అభ్యర్థించింది.

కర్ణాటకలో ప్రభుత్వ ఏర్పాటు కోసం శాసనసభ్యులను ఆకర్షించేందుకు యడియూరప్ప ప్రయత్నించారని ఆరోపణలు ఉన్నాయి. ఈ వ్యవహారమంతా భాజపా అధ్యక్షుడు అమిత్‌షా ఆధ్వర్యంలోనే జరుగుతోందని యడియూరప్ప ఈ ఆడియో క్లిప్పులో వ్యాఖ్యానించారు. ఈ అంశంపై ప్రత్యేక ధర్మాసనం ఏర్పాటుకు సీజేఐ జస్టిస్ రంజన్‌ గొగొయిని సంప్రదిస్తామని... ధర్మాసనం సోమవారం తెలిపింది.

Back in 2016, Oklahoma citizens voted to make some things, some minor drug offenses misdemeanors, and we're only bringing it up to current law today. So let's give our fellow Oklahomans a hand."

STORYLINE:
More than 450 inmates walked out the doors of prisons across Oklahoma on Monday as part of what state officials say is the largest single-day mass commutation in U.S. history.
The release of inmates, all with convictions for low-level drug and property crimes, resulted from a bill signed by new Republican Gov. Kevin Stitt. The bill retroactively applied misdemeanor sentences for simple drug possession and low-level property crimes that state voters approved in 2016.
Stitt has made reducing Oklahoma's highest-in-the-nation incarceration rate one of his top priorities and has appointed reform-minded members to the state's Pardon and Parole Board.
Releasing the inmates will save Oklahoma an estimated $11.9 million over the cost of continuing to keep them behind bars, according to the governor's office.
The board last week considered 814 cases and recommended 527 inmates for commutation. However, 65 are being held on detainers, leaving about 462 inmates to be released on Monday.
Governor Stitt spoke to inmates after they were released from the Eddie Warrior Correctional Center in Taft. KTUL-TV in Tulsa reports that 55 women were released from that facility.
