'రాజీవ్ నిర్ణయాలే సమాచార విప్లవానికి పునాది'

నేడు రాజీవ్​ గాంధీ 75వ జయంతి సందర్భంగా దేశవ్యాప్తంగా పలు కార్యక్రమాలకు శ్రీకారం చుట్టింది కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ. ఆయన సమాధి స్థలం వీర్​ భూమి వద్ద నివాళులు, ఇందిరా గాంధీ స్టేడియంలో స్మారక సమావేశం, యూత్ కాంగ్రెస్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో రక్తదాన శిబిరాలు సహా పలు కార్యక్రమాలను నిర్వహించనున్నారు. రాజీవ్​ గాంధీ చేసిన కృషి వల్లే దేశంలో సమాచార విప్లవం వచ్చిందని కాంగ్రెస్​ నేత రాహుల్ గాంధీ తన తండ్రిని స్మరించుకున్నారు.

దేశంలో సమాచార విప్లవానికి ఆద్యులు మాజీ ప్రధాని రాజీవ్​ గాంధీ అని ఉద్ఘాటించారు కాంగ్రెస్​ నేత రాహుల్ గాంధీ. నేడు రాజీవ్ గాంధీ 75వ జయంతి సందర్భంగా దేశవ్యాప్తంగా పలు కార్యక్రమాలకు శ్రీకారం చుట్టింది కాంగ్రెస్. రాజీవ్​ గాంధీ సమాధి వీర్​ భూమి వద్ద కాంగ్రెస్ నేతలు నివాళులు అర్పించనున్నారు. ఇందిరా గాంధీ స్టేడియంలో నిర్వహించనున్న స్మారక సమావేశంలో సోనియాగాంధీ ప్రసంగించనున్నారు. ఇదే వేదికపై పలు సాంస్కృతిక కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహిస్తారు.

యూత్ కాంగ్రెస్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో దేశవ్యాప్తంగా రక్తదాన శిబిరాలు నిర్వహించనున్నారు. రైసినా రోడ్​లో నిర్వహించే రక్తదాన కార్యక్రమానికి కాంగ్రెస్ సీనియర్ నేతలు హాజరు కానున్నారని సమాచారం.

దేశంలో సమాచార, సాంకేతిక విప్లవానికి రాజీవ్​గాంధీ తీసుకున్న నిర్ణయాలే కారణమన్నారు కాంగ్రెస్​ నేత రాహుల్ గాంధీ.
