సీబీఐ దాడులు ఆపండి... ప్రధానికి విపక్ష ఎంపీల లేఖ
మోదీ ప్రభుత్వం న్యాయవాదులపై బెదిరింపులకు పాల్పడుతోందని విపక్ష ఎంపీలు ఆరోపించారు. న్యాయవాది ఇందిరా జైసింగ్, ఆనంద్ గ్రోవర్లపై సీబీఐ దాడులను వారు ఖండించారు. ఇది అధికార దుర్వినియోగమని, ఇకనైనా వీటిని ఆపాలని కోరుతూ ప్రధాని మోదీకి లేఖ రాశారు.

సుప్రీంకోర్టు న్యాయవాది, మాజీ అదనపు సొలిసిటర్ జనరల్ ఇందిరా జైసింగ్, ఆనంద్ గ్రోవర్కు చెందిన దిల్లీ, ముంబయిల్లోని ఇళ్లు, కార్యాలయాల్లో సీబీఐ ఏకకాలంలో తనిఖీలు నిర్వహించింది. వీరు విదేశీ విరాళాల స్వీకరణకు సంబంధించి (ఎఫ్సీఆర్ఏ) నిబంధనలు ఉల్లంఘించారని పేర్కొంది. కేంద్ర హోంమంత్రిత్వశాఖ ఫిర్యాదు మేరకు ఎఫ్ఐఆర్ నమోదు చేసిన సీబీఐ... నిందితురాలిగా ఇందిరా జైసింగ్ పేరు చేర్చనప్పటికీ ఆమె ప్రమేయం ఉన్నట్లు పేర్కొంది.

ఇందిరా జైసింగ్, గ్రోవర్లు ఇరువురూ మానవహక్కుల రంగంలో గొప్ప కృషి చేశారని, మార్గదర్శకమైన పనులు చేపట్టారని, అధికారులకు పూర్తి సహకారం అందించారని విపక్ష ఎంపీలు కొనియాడారు. అయినప్పటికీ వారిపై సీబీఐ దాడులు జరగడం దిగ్భ్రాంతి కలిగించిందని పేర్కొన్నారు.

So, all in all, we were totally outplayed to be honest all throughout the day, so you look back at that and you can analyse each 10 overs, but (we were) just outplayed."
