"కెరాన్ సెక్టార్లోని ఎల్ఓసీ సమీపంలో పాకిస్థాన్ సరిహద్దు కార్యాచరణ బృందం(బ్యాట్) చొరబాటుకు ప్రయత్నించింది. వారిని మేం అడ్డుకుని మట్టుబెట్టాం. ఈ దాడిలో 5 నుంచి 7 మంది చనిపోయి ఉంటారు. ఇంకా కాల్పులు కొనసాగుతున్న కారణంగా వారిని గుర్తించలేకపోయాం."

జులై 31 నుంచి ఆగస్టు 1 మధ్యలో ఈ చొరబాటుకు పాక్ బ్యాట్ ప్రయత్నించినట్లు సైన్యం పేర్కొంది. ఇందులో నలుగురి మృతదేహాలు భారత ఔట్ పోస్టులకు సమీపంలోనే ఉన్నాయి. వీటిని స్వాధీనం చేసుకునేందుకు చేస్తోన్న ప్రయత్నాలకు పాక్ బలగాలు అంతరాయం కలిగిస్తున్నాయని కల్నల్ తెలిపారు.
గడిచిన 36 గంటల్లో లోయలో శాంతికి భంగం కలిగించేందుకు పాకిస్థాన్ లెక్కకు మించి ప్రయత్నించిందని ఆయన స్పష్టం చేశారు.
