Atal Setu Bridge Opening Date : 'అటల్​ వంతెన' అభివృద్ధి చెందిన భారతదేశానికి ప్రతీక అని ప్రధానమంత్రి నరేంద్ర మోదీ అన్నారు. ఇదే తాను ఇచ్చిన మోదీ గ్యారంటీ అని చెప్పారు. ఆర్థిక రాజధాని ముంబయి నగరంలో నిర్మించిన దేశంలోనే అత్యంత పొడవైన సముద్రపు వంతెన 'అటల్​ సేతు'ను శుక్రవారం ప్రారంభించిన సందర్భంగా మోదీ ప్రసంగించారు.

Atal Setu Bridge Opening Date : 'అటల్​ సేతు' అభివృద్ధి చెందిన భారత్​కు ప్రతీక అని ప్రధాని నరేంద్ర మోదీ అన్నారు. అభివృద్ధి చెందిన భారత్​ ఎలా ఉండబోతుంది అనేదానికి ఇదొక చిన్న ఉదాహరణ​ మాత్రమే అని చెప్పారు. 'అభివృద్ధి చెందిన దేశంలో అందరికీ సౌకర్యాలు, శ్రేయస్సు, వేగం, పురోగతి ఉంటుంది. అభివృద్ధి చెందిన భారతంలో దూరాలు తగ్గుతాయి. దేశంలోని ప్రతి మూలకు రవాణ సౌకర్యం ఉంటుంది. బతకడానికైనా, బతుకుదెరువు కోసం అయినా, ప్రతీదీ అంతరాయం లేకుండా సాగిపోతుంది. ఇది అటల్ సేతు సందేశం' అని ప్రధాని మోదీ వ్యాఖ్యానించారు. ఈ మేరకు శుక్రవారం ముంబయిలోని ట్రాన్స్ హర్బర్ లింక్​ బ్రిడ్జ్​ను ప్రారంభించిన సందర్భంగా మోదీ ప్రసంగించారు.

"వికసిత భరాత్ సంకల్పంతో పాటు ముంబయి, మహారాష్ట్రకు ఇది చారిత్రక రోజు. ఈ రోజు ప్రపంచంలోని అతి పొడవైన సముద్ర వంతెనలలో ఒకటైన అటల్ సేతును దేశం స్వీకరించింది. ఏళ్ల తరబడి పనులు వాయిదా వేసే అలవాటు ఉన్న వ్యవస్థపై ప్రజలకు ఆశలు లేవు. మేము బతికుండగా ఈ పెద్ద ప్రాజెక్టులు పూర్తి కావడం కష్టమని ప్రజలు భావించారు. అందుకే దేశం మారుతుందని నేను హామీ ఇచ్చాను. ఇదే అప్పట్లో నేను ఇచ్చిన 'మోదీ గ్యారంటీ'. గత పదేళ్లలో తన కలలు సాకారమవుతుండటం దేశం చూసింది. అటల్ సేతు ట్రాన్స్​ హార్బర్ లింక్, భారత మౌలిక సదుపాయాల శక్తిని, అభివృద్ధి చెందిన దేశంగా మార్చే దిశను చూపిస్తుంది."

ఈఫిల్ టవర్​ కన్నా 17 రెట్లు ఇనుము వాడకం
'అటల్ సేతు' దేశ ఆర్థిక రాజధాని ముంబయికి మరో మణిహారంలా దేశంలోనే అత్యంత పొడవైన సముద్ర బ్రిడ్జ్‌గా పేరుగాంచింది. భారత రవాణ చరిత్రలో కొత్త అధ్యాయం ప్రారంభించింది. మాజీ ప్రధాని అటల్‌ బిహారీ వాజ్‌పేయీ పేరిట ఈ అటల్‌ సేతును నిర్మించారు.
ముంబయిలోని సేవ్రీ నుంచి రాయ్‌గఢ్‌ జిల్లాలోని నహవా శేవాను కలుపుతూ రూ.17 వేల 840 కోట్ల వ్యయంతో ఆరు లేన్లుగా దీన్ని నిర్మించారు. మాజీ ప్రధానమంత్రి అటల్‌ బిహారీ వాజ్‌పేయీ గౌరవార్థం ఈ వంతెనకు అటల్‌ సేతు అని పేరు పెట్టారు. ముంబయి, నవీ ముంబయిల మధ్య ప్రయాణానికి ప్రస్తుతం రెండు గంటల సమయం పడుతుండగా, కొత్తగా నిర్మించిన వంతెనతో 15- 20 నిమిషాల్లో చేరుకోవచ్చు. ఈ వంతెనపై నిత్యం 70 వేలకు పైగా వాహనాలు ప్రయాణించే అవకాశాలు ఉన్నట్లు అంచనా వేస్తున్నారు. మొత్తం పొడవు 21.8 కిలో మీటర్లు కాగా, 16 కిలో మీటర్లకు పైగా ఈ వంతెన అరేబియా సముద్రంపై ఉంటుంది.

ఈ వంతెన ద్వారా ముంబయి, నవీ ముంబయి అంతర్జాతీయ విమానాశ్రయాలకు కనెక్టివిటీ పెరగనుంది. దీంతో పాటు ముంబయి నుంచి పుణె, గోవా, దక్షిణాది రాష్ట్రాలకు వెళ్లే వారికి సమయం ఆదా కానుంది. ప్రపంచ ప్రఖ్యాత పారిస్​లోని ఈఫిల్​ టవర్​లో వాడకంలో వినియోగించిన ఇనుము కన్నా 17 రెట్లు ఈ వంతెనలో ఉపయోగించారు. స్టాట్యూ ఆఫ్​ లిబర్టీ విగ్రహానికి ఉపయోగించిన కాంక్రీట్ కంటే ఆరు రెట్లు ఎక్కువగా వాడారు.

400 సీసీటీవీ కెమెరాలతో భద్రత
ఈ అటల్ సేతు నిర్మాణంలో పర్యావరణంపై ప్రత్యేక శ్రద్ధ తీసుకున్నారు. శీతాకాలంలో ఇక్కడికి వలస వచ్చే ఫ్లెమింగో పక్షులను దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని వంతెనపై సౌండ్ బారియర్ ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. సముద్రపు జీవులకు హాని కలిగించని లైట్లను డిజైన్ చేసి వంతెనపై అమర్చారు. అటల్‌ వంతెనపై పటిష్ఠ బందోబస్తులో భాగంగా 400 సీసీటీవీ కెమెరాలను అమర్చారు. అటల్ సేతుపై ఏదైనా వాహనం ఆగిపోయినా, పాడైనా, ఎవరైనా అనుమానాస్పదంగా కనిపించినా ఆ సీసీటీవీ కెమెరాలు సమాచారాన్ని వెంటనే కంట్రోల్ రూమ్‌కి అందిస్తాయి. వెంటనే పోలీసులు అప్రమత్తమై చర్యలు చేపట్టనున్నారు.
