కర్నూలు జిల్లా బనవాసి ఫారం వద్ద పోలీసులు తనిఖీలు నిర్వహించారు. పక్కా సమాచారంతో అక్కడికి చేరుకున్న పోలీసులు బెంగళూరు నుంచి ఎమ్మిగన్నూరుకు వస్తున్న ఆర్టీసీ బస్సులో 20కేజీల వెండి, 30 గ్రాములు బంగారం స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నారు. సార్వత్రిక ఎన్నికల నేపథ్యంలో రాష్ట్ర వ్యాప్తంగా తనిఖీలు ముమ్మరం చేశారు.

Amritsar (Punjab), Mar 13(ANI): Speaking to mediapersons on Union Minister Harsimrat Badal's comment that Navjot Singh Sidhu is a Pakistani agent, Congress leader and Sidhu's wife Navjot Kaur said, "No one needs to prove their nationalism, especially a cricketer who even after breaking his bones fights for the country. Navjot Sidhu is attached with sports and during the match it was war for them and then later in dressing room they used to hug and greet their opponents. So, abusing someone to present one as a bigger person doesn't make any sense. And when it comes to the country, it is not in favour of the country to have a war. What is in favour of the country is to lead a peace process through talks and dialogues. But these talks of national level depend on senior leaders so making such comments is not nice."
