French car maker Citroen is showcasing what they call an "all-electric object", called Ami One Concept, designed for urban use.
STORYLINE:
French car maker Citroen is celebrating one hundred years of car making with an eccentric presentation of an electric city car concept.
A man in a red-hooded jacket danced his way through the debut of Ami One Concept, which Citroen described as a "disruptive all-electric object", featuring digital technology.
The vehicle is designed to be used without a driving license, offering users 'on demand use via a mobile app, according to Citroen.
Citroen appears to have thrown out the rule book in this its centenary year, presenting a durable zero emissions concept vehicle aimed at young people, that is designed to be shared, rented or owned.
The debut was an unusual presentation that didn't feature any speakers, rather a male dancer.
Carmakers at the Geneva International Motor Show are unveiling new electric vehicles they hope will transform the industry as well as high-end sports cars that are a fixture at the show.
The annual Geneva International Motor Show opens to the public on 7 March and runs until 17 March 2019.
More than 900 models will be shown, including over 150 world and European premiers.
