"I bumped into the little creature and took care of it. Later I called the forest police for help. I brought it home at night without knowing what it is. I have little knowledge of this. So I asked them to come over and have a look," said Zhao.
Police then took the Pallas's cat to the local forest public security bureau, where it was nurtured and cured.
"After our nurture and treatment, the Pallas's cat has recovered and is able to survive in the wild," said Da Lantai, a forest police officer.
Now the wild cat has been released to the wild.
Mainly feeding on murid, the Pallas's cat, also known as manul, is a small wild cat that is distributed in deserts or grasslands.
