2. SOUNDBITE (English) Kane Brown, recording artist, on his "Homesick" music video:
"Yeah. So I dedicated this song to the military, first verse and chorus, because I wrote it about myself and I was trying to find somebody else that could relate to just being away from home all the time. So I dedicated to the military. We had a bunch of fans send their homecoming videos in and made an awesome music video, very teary, tear jerker music video."

4. SOUNDBITE (English) Kane Brown, recording artist, on relating to being away from home:
"Just because like not only what they do for us, I thought there's not many songs going out these days about the military like there used to be. I felt like this would really hit home for them. Just kind of like memories of, you know, anybody dancing in a kitchen, singing favorite songs with each other. And I just thought it would be really cool. Just … I feel like they would really, really be able to relate to other than me. I feel like the normal person can't relate to the 'Homesick' song because they're gone you know 9 to 5 and they come home. So they are the only other ones other than the artists I could really think of. So we're about to shoot, actually shoot a new music video. More like a movie story and have it come out when the single airs."

6. SOUNDBITE (English) Kane Brown, recording artist, on the new music video:
"Uh, it's gonna be more like a movie. There's going to be a live scene of course for my second verse where it talks about me. But that's gonna be kind of a tribute of just, you know, me actually getting to do that because of the military. And it's just gonna be a movie about, you know, what they're doing over there while we're doing, while I'm singing on stage. What they are going through over there."

8. SOUNDBITE (English) Kane Brown, recording artist, on connecting with military fans:
"I would love to. I've had a lot of troops reach out to me especially since I released 'Homesick.' And like when I see somebody that's in the military at all, if they message me on social media, it's something that I always got to reply back. If they say 'I'm in the Navy' or you know anywhere. 'This song's touched me.' It's like I have to immediately reply back to them."
