டோக்கியோ: உலகக்கோப்பை ரக்பி தொடரின் லீக் ஆட்டத்தில் ஸ்காட்லாந்து அணி 61-0 என்ற புள்ளிக்கணக்கில் ரஷ்யாவை வீழ்த்தி அபார வெற்றி பெற்றது.

ஜப்பானில் நடைபெறும் வரும் உலகக்கோப்பை ரக்பி தொடர் தற்போது இறுதிக்கட்டத்தை எட்டியுள்ளது. இதில் இன்று நடைபெற்ற லீக் ஆட்டத்தில் குரூப் ஏ பிரிவில் இடம்பெற்றுள்ள ஸ்காட்லாந்து அணி ரஷ்ய அணியை எதிர்த்து விளையாடியது.

பரபரப்பாகத் தொடங்கிய இந்த ஆட்டத்தில் ஸ்காட்லாந்து அணி ஆட்டத்தின் தொடக்கம் முதலே தனது அபார ஆட்டத்தை வெளிப்படுத்தியது. இதனால் ஆட்டநேர முடிவில் ஸ்காட்லாந்து அணி 61-00 என்ற புள்ளிக்கணக்கில் ரஷ்ய அணியை வீழ்த்தி உலகக்கோப்பை ரக்பி தொடரில் தனது இரண்டாவது வெற்றியைப் பதிவுசெய்தது.

இந்த வெற்றியின் மூலம் ஸ்காட்லாந்து அணி இத்தொடரில் இரண்டு வெற்றி, ஒரு தோல்வி என குரூப் ஏ புள்ளிப்பட்டியலில் 10 புள்ளிகளுடன் மூன்றாமிடம் பிடித்துள்ளது.

STORYLINE:
Another defeat for Russia as they are beaten 61-0 by Scotland in Pool A at the 2019 Japan Rugby World Cup.
Adam Hastings opened the score line with two tries to his name and converted them both - George Horne also became the first scrum-half to score a Test hat-trick.
Although Darcy Graham didn't score himself, he secured the bonus point for Scotland - an outstanding run from the 22 metre-line and sailing past three men to set up Horne.
Russia failed to get a win at the campaign and finished bottom of the Pool with zero points.
Up next for the Scots are hosts and top of the Pool, Japan - a tough quarter-final decider for both sides.
