இதையடுத்து ஐடிடிஎஃப் வெளியிட்ட அறிக்கையில், கோவிட்- 19 பெருந்தொற்றின் அச்சுறுத்தல் காரணமாக ஒலிம்பிக், பாரா ஒலிம்பிக் தொடர்கள் ஒத்திவைக்கப்பட்டதைத் தொடர்ந்து, ஐடிடிஎஃப் செயற்குழு முடிவுகளை மேற்கொண்டுள்ளது. அதில் தற்போது நடைபெறவிருந்த அனைத்து தொடர்களையும் ஜூன் 30 ஆம் தேதிவரை நிறுத்திவைக்க முடிவு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது என்று தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
