2022-23ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான நாட்டின் நிதிநிலை அறிக்கை இன்று(பிப். 1) தாக்கல் செய்யப்படவுள்ள நிலையில், நாட்டின் பொருளாதார ஆய்வறிக்கையை நாடாளுமன்றத்தில் நேற்று (ஜன. 31) நிதியமைச்சர் நிர்மலா சீதாராமன் தாக்கல் செய்தார்.
இது தொடர்பாக காங்கிரஸ் மூத்த தலைவரும், முன்னாள் நிதியமைச்சருமான ப சிதம்பரம் ட்விட்டரில் கருத்து தெரிவித்துள்ளார். அவர் தனது ட்வீட்டில், " நாட்டின் பொருளாதார ஆய்வறிக்கை அடுத்த நாளில், தினசரி செய்தித்தாள்களை படித்தீர்கள் என்றால், நாட்டில் எதிர்க்கட்சிகளே இல்லை என்றும், எதிர்க்கட்சிகள் இருந்தாலும் அவற்றுக்கு பொருளாதாரம் குறித்து எந்த பார்வையும் இல்லை என்ற முடிவுக்கு நீங்கள் வருவீர்கள்" எனத் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
மேலும் அவர், "பொருளாதார ஆய்வறிக்கையின் படி, விரைவில் நாட்டின் பொருளாதாரம் பெருந்தொற்றுக்கு முந்தைய நிலையை அடையும் எனக் கூறியுள்ளது. இரண்டாண்டுகள் பின்நோக்கி செல்ல, அதாவது, 2020ஆம் ஆண்டு மார்ச் 31 நிலையை அடையவே இந்தியா இன்னும் தடுமாறி வருகிறது. பிரபல எழுத்தாளர் சார்லஸ் டிக்கென்ஸ் நாவலில் வரும் வாசகங்கள், 'அதுவொரு சிறந்த காலம், அதுவொரு மோசமான காலம்' என்பதே நினைவுக்கு வருகிறது" எனக் கூறியுள்ளார்.
