ਐੱਮਐੱਸ ਧੋਨੀ ਦੀ ਕਪਤਾਨੀ 'ਚ 24 ਜੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਟੀਮ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਨੇ 15 ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਸੋਕਾ ਖਤਮ ਕੀਤਾ। ਭਾਰਤ ਨੇ 24 ਜੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਏਸ਼ੀਆ ਕੱਪ 2010 ਦਾ ਖਿਤਾਬ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ ਸੀ। ਧੋਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਗੌਤਮ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਟੂਰਨਾਮੈਂਟ 'ਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਕਾਫੀ ਵਾਹ-ਵਾਹ ਖੱਟੀ ਸੀ ।

ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ: 24 ਜੂਨ 2010 ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅੱਜ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਟੀਮ ਲਈ ਯਾਦਗਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਖਾਸ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਅੱਜ ਤੋਂ 13 ਸਾਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ 24 ਜੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਟੀਮ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਏਸ਼ੀਆ ਕੱਪ 2010 ਵਿੱਚ ਚੈਂਪੀਅਨ ਬਣੀ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਮਹਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਧੋਨੀ ਦੀ ਕਪਤਾਨੀ 'ਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਨੇ 15 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਸੋਕੇ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਏਸ਼ੀਆ ਕੱਪ ਦਾ ਖਿਤਾਬ ਜਿੱਤਣ 'ਚ ਸਫਲ ਰਿਹਾ। 2010 ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਟੂਰਨਾਮੈਂਟ ਦੇ ਫਾਈਨਲ ਮੈਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਨੇ ਸ੍ਰੀਲੰਕਾ ਨੂੰ 81 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹਰਾਇਆ ਸੀ। ਭਾਰਤੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਟਰਾਫੀ ਦਿਵਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਧੋਨੀ ਨੇ ਅਹਿਮ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ।

66 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਪਾਰੀ: ਇਸ ਮੈਚ 'ਚ ਟੀਮ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਦੇ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ ਦਿਨੇਸ਼ ਕਾਰਤਿਕ ਨੇ 84 ਗੇਂਦਾਂ ਖੇਡਦੇ ਹੋਏ 66 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਪਾਰੀ ਖੇਡੀ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਦਿਨੇਸ਼ ਕਾਰਤਿਕ ਨੂੰ ਫਾਈਨਲ 'ਚ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਲਈ 'ਪਲੇਅਰ ਆਫ ਦਾ ਮੈਚ' ਦਾ ਐਵਾਰਡ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਰੋਹਿਤ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ 41 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਗੌਤਮ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਭਾਰਤ ਲਈ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ ਬਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਵੀਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਜ਼ਹੀਰ, ਨਹਿਰਾ ਨੇ ਟੂਰਨਾਮੈਂਟ ਵਿੱਚ 6-6 ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਲਈਆਂ।
