ଆଇପିଏଲ 2020ର ଦ୍ବିତୀୟ ମ୍ୟାଚରେ କୋଭିଡ ଯୋଦ୍ଧାଙ୍କୁ ସମ୍ମାନ ଜଣାଇଥି ବିରାଟ କୋହଲିଙ୍କ ରୟାଲ ଚ୍ୟାଲେଞ୍ଜର୍ସ ବାଙ୍ଗାଲୋରର ଖେଳାଳି । ସନରାଇଜର୍ସ ହାଇଦ୍ରାବାଦ ବିପକ୍ଷ ମ୍ୟାଚରେ ଆରସିବିର ସମସ୍ତ ଖେଳାଳିଙ୍କ ଜର୍ସିରେ କୋଭିଢ ଯୋଦ୍ଧାଙ୍କ ନାମ ରହିଥିଲା ।
ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଆଫ୍ରିକୀୟ ଖେଳାଳି କ୍ରିସ ମୋରିସଙ୍କ ଜର୍ସିରେ ଓଡିଶାର ନୀଳାଚଳ ପରିଡାଙ୍କ ନାମ ରହିଥିଲା । କୋରୋନା ଲକଡାଉନ ସମୟରେ ପନିପରିବା ଦୋକାନ କରି ବୟସ୍କ ନାଗରିକଙ୍କୁ ମାଗଣାରେ ପରିବା ଯୋଗାଇଥିଲେ ନୀଳାଚଳ । ସକାଳ 6ରୁ ରାତି 10 ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଦୋକାନ ଖୋଲିବା ସହ ସାମାଜିକ ଦୂରତ୍ବ ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇଁ ସଚେତନ କରୁଥିଲେ । ଏଥିସହ ଦୋକାନରୁ ଆୟ ଟଙ୍କାକୁ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାରଙ୍କ କୋଭିଡ ଫଣ୍ଡକୁ ଦାନ କରୁଥିଲେ ।
ନୀଳାଚଳ ପର୍ବତାରୋହୀ ମଧ୍ୟ ରହିଛନ୍ତି । ଏପ୍ରିଲ ପ୍ରଥମ ସପ୍ତାହରେ ତାଙ୍କର ଋଷିଆ ଯିବାର ଥିଲା । ମାତ୍ର ଲକଡାଉନ ଯୋଗୁଁ ଏହି ପର୍ବତାରୋହ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ବାତିଲ ପରେ କୋଭିଡ ସମୟରେ ସେ ସମାଜ ପାଇଁ କିଛି ନିଆରା କରିବାକୁ ମନ ବଳାଇଥିଲେ ।
