୩୯ ମିନିଟରେ ଧରି ଫାଇନାଲ ମ୍ୟାଚ ଚାଲିଥିଲା । ମ୍ୟାଚ ଆରମ୍ଭରୁ ୪-୦ରେ ଆଗୁଆ ଥିଲେ ଆନ ସେୟଙ୍ଗ୍‌ । ଏହାପରେ ସିନ୍ଧୁ ତାଙ୍କ ଗେମ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଥିଲେ । ଖେଳ ଆରମ୍ଭର ୪ ମିନିଟ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସେଟ ୭-୪ରେ ଆନ ସେୟଙ୍ଗ୍‌ କବଜାରେ ଥିଲା ମ୍ୟାଚ । ଶେଷ ବେଳକୁ ସିଧାସଳଖ ଗେମରେ ସିନ୍ଧୁଙ୍କୁ ହରାଇଥିଲେ ଆନ ସେୟଙ୍କ ।

ଶନିବାର ଦୁଇ ଥରର ଅଲମ୍ପିକ ପଦକ ବିଜେତା ସିନ୍ଧୁ ସେମିଫାଇନାଲ ମୁକାବିଲାରେ ଜାପାନର ଆକାନେ ୟାମାଗୁଚୀଙ୍କୁ ହରାଇ ଫାଇନାଲରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିଥିଲେ । ସଂଘର୍ଷପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ସେମି ମୁକାବିଲାରେ ୟାମାଗୁଚୀଙ୍କୁ ୨୧-୧୫, ୧୫-୨୧, ୨୧-୧୯ ସେଟ୍‌ରେ ହରାଇଥିଲେ ସିନ୍ଧୁ। ଏହି ବିଜୟ ପରେ ସିନ୍ଧୁ ହେଡ୍‌ ଟୁ ହେଡ୍‌ ରେକର୍ଡରେ ୧୩-୮ରେ ଆଗରେ ଥିଲେ ।
