ഈ സീസണില്‍ തകര്‍പ്പന്‍ പ്രകടനമാണ് ഡെയ്‌ല്‍ സ്റ്റെയ്‌ന്‍റെ പരിശീലനത്തിന് കീഴില്‍ ഉമ്രാന്‍ മാലിക് പുറത്തെടുക്കുന്നത്. ഗുജറാത്തിനെതിരായ അഞ്ച് വിക്കറ്റ് നേട്ടം ഉള്‍പ്പടെ എട്ട് മല്‍സരങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്ന് എതിരാളികളുടെ 15 വിക്കറ്റുകളാണ് താരം പിഴുതത്. കഴിഞ്ഞ വര്‍ഷം മൂന്ന് മത്സരം മാത്രം കളിക്കാന്‍ അവസരം ലഭിച്ച ഉമ്രാനെ നാല് കോടി രൂപയ്‌ക്കാണ് സണ്‍റൈസേഴ്‌സ് ടീമില്‍ നിലനിര്‍ത്തിയത്.
