ഹൈദരാബാദ്: ന്യൂസിലന്‍ഡിനെതിരായ പ്രഥമ ലോക ടെസ്റ്റ് ചാമ്പ്യൻഷിപ്പ് ഫൈനലിൽ തോല്‍വി വഴങ്ങിയതിന് പിന്നാലെ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ക്യാപ്റ്റൻ വിരാട് കോലിക്കെതിരെ ആരാധകർ. മഴകളിച്ച സതാംപ്ടണില്‍ വെറും മൂന്ന് ദിവസം മാത്രം നടന്ന മത്സരത്തിലെ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ തോല്‍വി കോലിയുടെ ക്യാപ്റ്റൻസിയുടെ പരാജയമാണെന്നാണ് ആരാധകര്‍ പറയുന്നത്. മത്സരത്തിലെ കോലിയുടെ പല തീരുമാനങ്ങളും തെറ്റായിരുന്നു. സാഹചര്യങ്ങള്‍ക്കനുസരിച്ച് ബൗളിങ്ങില്‍ മാറ്റം വരുത്തുന്നതിനും ഫീല്‍ഡ് സെറ്റുചെയ്യുന്നതിലും താരം പരാജയപ്പെട്ടുവെന്നും ഇക്കൂട്ടര്‍ പറയുന്നു. ഗ്രൗണ്ടിലെ അമിതാവേശമടക്കമുള്ള താരത്തിന്‍റെ പെരുമാറ്റത്തേയും വിമർശിക്കുന്നവരുണ്ട്.

കോലി നായക സ്ഥാനം ഒഴിയുകയും പകരം രോഹിത് ശര്‍മയെ ക്യാപ്റ്റനാക്കണമെന്നുമാണ് ആരാധകര്‍ പറയുന്നത്. നായകനെന്ന നിലയില്‍ ഐപിഎല്ലിലെ പ്രകടന മികവാണ് രോഹിത്തിനെ നായക സ്ഥാനത്തേക്ക് നിര്‍ദേശിക്കുന്നതിന് ആരാധകര്‍ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടുന്നത്. ഐപിഎല്‍ ചരിത്രത്തില്‍ ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ കിരീടം നേടിയ ക്യാപ്റ്റനെന്ന റെക്കോര്‍ഡ് രോഹിത്തിന്‍റെ പേരിലാണുള്ളത്.

ഇതിനിടെ ലോകകപ്പ് അടക്കം പല ടൂര്‍ണമെന്‍റുകളിലും സെമി ഫൈനലിലോ, ഫൈനലിലോ തോൽക്കാനാണ് ഇന്ത്യയുടെ വിധിയെന്ന് 2019 ലോകകപ്പിലെ സെമി തോല്‍വിയടക്കം ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി ആരാധകര്‍ പറയുന്നു. 2017 ലെ ചാമ്പ്യന്‍സ് ട്രോഫിയിലും ടീം ശ്രീലങ്കയോട് ഫൈനലില്‍ പരാജയപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. ഇതിനിടെ പ്രധാന താരങ്ങളില്ലാതിരുന്നിട്ടും ഓസ്ട്രേലിയയില്‍ ടെസ്റ്റ് പരമ്പര നേടിയത് രഹാനെയുടെ ക്യാപ്റ്റന്‍സിയുടെ കൂടെ മികവാണെന്നും പറയുന്നവരുണ്ട്.
