ന്യൂഡൽഹി: ബീഹാർ നിയമസഭാ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ ഗ്രാൻഡ് അലയൻസ് നടത്തിയ മോശം പ്രകടനത്തിന് ഇലക്ട്രോണിക് വോട്ടിംഗ് മെഷീനുകളെ കുറ്റപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ട് കാര്യമില്ലെന്ന് കോൺഗ്രസ് എംപി കാർത്തി ചിദംബരം. ഇവിഎമ്മുകളിൽ ക്രമക്കേടുണ്ടെന്ന കോൺഗ്രസ് നേതാവ് ഉദിത് രാജിന്‍റെ പ്രസ്താവനയ്ക്ക് പുറകെയാണ് കാർത്തി ചിദംബരത്തിന്‍റെ പരാമർശം. ഉപഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ വരെ നിയന്ത്രിക്കാൻ കഴിയുമ്പോൾ എന്തുകൊണ്ട് ഇവിഎമ്മുകൾ ഹാക്ക് ചെയ്തുകൂടാ എന്നായിരുന്നു ഉദിത് രാജിന്‍റെ പ്രസ്ചാവന.

ഇവിഎം സംവിധാനം ശക്തവും കൃത്യവും ആശ്രയിക്കാൻ കഴിയുന്നതുമാണെന്ന് എംപി ട്വീറ്റ് ചെയ്തു. എക്സിറ്റ് പോൾ ഫലത്തിന് ശേഷം കോൺഗ്രസ് ആഹ്ലാദിച്ചു. എന്നാൽ ചൊവ്വാഴ്ച ട്രെൻഡുകൾ വരാൻ തുടങ്ങിയതിന് ശേഷം നേതാക്കൾ ഇവിഎമ്മുകളെ കുറ്റപ്പെടുത്തുകയാണെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. അതേസമയം, തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് കമ്മീഷൻ അരോപണങ്ങൾ നിരസിച്ചു, ഇവിഎമ്മുകൾക്ക് തകരാറില്ലെന്ന് അറിയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
