ന്യൂഡൽഹി: രാജ്യത്തെ കൊവിഡ് വാക്‌സിനേഷൻ ഡ്രൈവ് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി ഉദ്‌ഘാടനം ചെയ്‌തു. വീഡിയോ കോൺഫറൻസ് വഴിയാണ് ഉദ്‌ഘാടനം ചെയ്തത്. കൊവിഡ് പോരാട്ടത്തിൽ രാജ്യം ലോകത്തിന് മാതൃകയാണെന്ന് നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി പറഞ്ഞു. പ്രതിസന്ധിക്കിടെ പല രാജ്യങ്ങളിലെയും പൗരന്മാർ ചൈനയിൽ കുടുങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ വന്ദേ ഭാരത് ദൗത്യത്തിലൂടെ അവരെ നാട്ടിൽ തിരിച്ചെത്തിച്ചു. മുൻ‌നിര ആരോഗ്യ പ്രവർത്തകർ നേരിടുന്ന ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുകളെക്കുറിച്ച് മോദി വികാരാധീനനായി സംസാരിച്ചു.

കൊവിഡ് മഹാമാരി രോഗികളെ അവരുടെ കുടുംബത്തിൽ നിന്നും അകറ്റി. അമ്മമാർ മക്കൾക്കുവേണ്ടി കരഞ്ഞു. ആശുപത്രികളിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിക്കുന്നവരെ കാണാൻ ബന്ധുക്കൾക്ക് കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല. കൊവിഡ് ബാധിച്ച് മരിച്ചവരെ അവസാനമായി കാണാൻ പോലും ബന്ധുക്കൾക്ക് സാധിച്ചില്ലെന്നും മോദി പറഞ്ഞു.
ഇത്രയും വലിയ രീതിയിലുള്ള വാക്‌സിനേഷൻ ഡ്രൈവ് ചരിത്രത്തിൽ ഒരിക്കലും നടത്തിയിട്ടില്ല. ആദ്യ ഘട്ടത്തിൽ രാജ്യത്ത് മൂന്ന് കോടി ആളുകൾക്ക് കുത്തിവയ്പ്പ് നടത്തുന്നു. രണ്ടാം ഘട്ടത്തിൽ ഇത് 30 കോടിയിലേക്ക് എത്തിക്കണമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു.
