സർക്കാരിന്‍റെ ഇത്തരം നടപടികൾ മനുഷ്യത്വരഹിതമാണെന്നും, പെട്രോൾ, ഡീസൽ എന്നിവയുടെ എക്സൈസ് തീരുവ ഉയർത്തി സർക്കാർ ലാഭം നേടുകയാണന്നും അദ്ദേഹം ട്വിറ്ററിൽ കുറിച്ചു.

ന്യൂഡൽഹി: അന്താരാഷ്‌ട്ര വിപണിയിലെ ക്രൂഡ് ഓയില്‍ വിലയിലുണ്ടായ മാറ്റത്തിൽ നിന്ന് കേന്ദ്രസർക്കാർ ലാഭമുണ്ടാക്കുകയും ജനങ്ങളുടെ ദുരിതം മുതലെടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നുവെന്ന് കോൺഗ്രസ് വക്താവ് രൺ‌ദീപ് സിങ് സുർജേവാല. സർക്കാരിന്‍റെ ഇത്തരം നടപടികൾ മനുഷ്യത്വരഹിതമാണെന്നും, പെട്രോൾ, ഡീസൽ എന്നിവയുടെ എക്സൈസ് തീരുവ ഉയർത്തി സർക്കാർ ലാഭം നേടുകയാണന്നും അദ്ദേഹം ട്വിറ്ററിൽ കുറിച്ചു.

ഇന്നലെ നടന്ന ലോക്‌സഭാ സമ്മേളനത്തിൽ പെട്രോൾ, ഡീസൽ എന്നിവയുടെ പ്രത്യേക എക്സൈസ് തീരുവ ലിറ്ററിന് 18 രൂപ, 12 രൂപ വരെ ഉയർത്താൻ സർക്കാരിന് അധികാരം നൽകുന്ന നിയമഭേദഗതിക്ക് അംഗീകാരം ലഭിച്ചു. ഭാവിയിൽ പെട്രോളിനും ഡീസലിനും എക്സൈസ് തീരുവ എട്ട് രൂപ വീതം ഉയർത്താനും തീരുമാനമായി.
