ന്യൂഡല്‍ഹി: മുതിര്‍ന്ന കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് നേതാവ് അഹമ്മദ് പട്ടേലിന്‍റെ മരണത്തില്‍ രാഷ്ട്രപതി രാംനാഥ് കോവിന്ദ് ദുഃഖം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി. ബഹുജന പ്രീതി ലഭിച്ച നേതാവായിരുന്നു പട്ടേലെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. ഒരു പാര്‍ലമെന്‍റേറിയന്‍ എന്ന നിലയില്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ ഏറെ പ്രാധാനപ്പെട്ടതാണെന്നും രാഷ്ട്രപതി കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ത്തു.
