ಕಾರ್ಗಿಲ್​ ವಿಜಯ ದಿವಸ: ಸಚಿನ್​, ಕೊಹ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸೈ ನಿಕರಿಗೆ ಗೌರವ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳು - Sportsperson pays tribute to soldiers

ಜುಲೈ 26 1999ರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಶಸ್ತ್ರ ಪಡೆ ಕಾರ್ಗಿಲ್​ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನ ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಬಗ್ಗುಬಡಿದಿತ್ತು. ಅಂದಿನಿಂದ ಈ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಕಾರ್ಗಿಲ್​ ವಿಜಯ ದಿವಸ ಎಂದು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿದೆ.

ನವದೆಹಲಿ: ಕಾರ್ಗಿಲ್ ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತ ಜಯಗಳಿಸಿದ 21ನೇ ವರ್ಷಾಚರಣೆಯ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ಭಾರತ ತಂಡದ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ನಾಯಕ ವಿರಾಟ್ ಕೊಹ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ದಂತಕಥೆ ಸಚಿನ್ ತೆಂಡೂಲ್ಕರ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳು ಭಾನುವಾರ ಸೈನಿಕರಿಗೆ ಗೌರವ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಜುಲೈ 26 1999ರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಶಸ್ತ್ರ ಪಡೆ ಕಾರ್ಗಿಲ್​ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನ ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಬಗ್ಗುಬಡಿದಿತ್ತು. ಅಂದಿನಿಂದ ಈ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಕಾರ್ಗಿಲ್​ ವಿಜಯ ದಿವಸ ಎಂದು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಭಾರತೀಯ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳಾದ ಸಚಿನ್​, ವಿರಾಟ್​ ಕೊಹ್ಲಿ, ಗಗನ್​ ನಾರಂಗ್​ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವಾರು ಮಂದಿ ಕಾರ್ಗಿಲ್​ ವಿಜಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸೈನಿಕರಿಗೆ ಗೌರವ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
