ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಗೆದ್ದ ನಿಷಾದ್​ ಕುಮಾರ್​ಗೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ, ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಸೇರಿ ಗಣ್ಯರಿಂದ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆಗಳ ಮಹಾಪೂರ - ನಿಷಾದ್ ಕುಮಾರ್​ಗೆ ಮೋದಿ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆ

ನಿಷಾದ್​ ಭಾನುವಾರ ನಡೆದ ಟಿ47 ಹೈಜಂಪ್​ ಫೈನಲ್​ನಲ್ಲಿ 2.09 ಮೀಟರ್​ ಜಿಗಿದು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಪದಕ ಗೆದ್ದರು. ಇದು ಹೈಜಂಪ್ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ದೊರೆತ 2ನೇ ಪದಕವಾಗಿದೆ. 2012ರಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಗಿರೀಶ್​ ಲಂಡನ್​ ಒಲಿಂಪಿಕ್ಸ್​ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಪದಕ ಗೆದ್ದಿದ್ದರು. ಇದು ಆ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೂಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂದಿದ್ದ ಏಕೈಕ ಪದಕವಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಟೋಕಿಯೋ: ಜಪಾನ್​ನ ಟೋಕಿಯೋದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಪ್ಯಾರಾಲಿಂಪಿಕ್ಸ್​ನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದ ಹೈ ಜಂಪರ್​ ನಿಷಾದ್​ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಪದಕ ಗೆಲ್ಲುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೂಟದಲ್ಲಿ 2ನೇ ಪದಕ ತಂದುಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಿಷಾದ್​ ಸಾಧನೆಗೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ, ಉಪರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ, ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಮಂತ್ರಿ, ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನಾಯಕ​ ರಾಹುಲ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ದೇಶದ ಗಣ್ಯರು ಅಭಿನಂದನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
