ಪೌರತ್ವ (ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ) ಮಸೂದೆ ಲೋಕಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂಗೀಕಾರಗೊಂಡ ದಿನದಿಂದ ಅಸ್ಸೋಂನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ಭುಗಿಲೆದ್ದಿದೆ. ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಟ್ವಿಟ್ಟರ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಜನತೆಗೆ ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿರುವ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹಕ್ಕು, ಅಸ್ಮಿತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸುಂದರ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಯಾರಿಂದಲೂ ಕಸಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಪೌರತ್ವ (ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ) ಮಸೂದೆ ಲೋಕಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂಗೀಕಾರಗೊಂಡ ದಿನದಿಂದ ಅಸ್ಸೋಂನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ಜೋರಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಅಸ್ಸೋಂ ಜನತೆ ತೀವ್ರ ಸ್ವರೂಪದ ಆಕ್ರೋಶ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ನಿನ್ನೆ ಸಂಸತ್ತಿನ ಮೇಲ್ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲೂ ಮಸೂದೆಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದೆ. ಇದು ಆ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಜನರನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಕೆರಳಿಸಿತ್ತು.
