भोपाल। एमपी में 'रक्षाबंधन' पर नगर निगम ने महिलाओं को मुफ्त बस यात्रा की पेशकश की है. जानकारी के अनुसार इस बार महिलाओं और बालिकाओं से लिए बसों में फ्री यात्रा की व्यवस्था रहेगी. भोपाल नगर निगम द्वारा 'रक्षाबंधन' (Raksha Bandhan) के अवसर पर चलाई जा रही लाल बसों में यात्रा करने वाली महिलाओं से एक दिन के लिए कोई उचित शुल्क नहीं लिया जाएगा.

भोपाल महापौर ने किया ऐलान: भोपाल की नई महापौर मालती राय ने घोषणा करते हुए कहा है कि, "भोपाल के 18 रूटों पर चलने वाली 273 सिटी बसों में महिलाओं और लड़कियों को रक्षाबंधन के दिन मुफ्त सेवा दी जा रही है. गुरुवार रात 9 बजे से शुक्रवार तक शहर की सिटी बसों में महिलाओं और लड़कियों से किराया नहीं लिया जाएगा."

इन रूट पर है फ्री सेवा: 'रक्षाबंधन' के अवसर पर महिलाओं के लिए जिन रूट पर बसों को फ्री किया गया है, वे शहर के ज्यादातर सभी इलाकों को कवर करतीं हैं. चिरायु अस्पताल से बैरागढ़ के पास अवधपुरी, न्यू मार्केट, अयोध्या बाईपास, करोंद, एमपी नगर, मिसरोद, मंडीदीप, होशंगाबाद रोड, कटारा हिल्स, बैरागढ़ चिचली, कोलार रोड, गांधीनगर, बंगारसिया, रायसेन रोड, लंबाखेड़ा, नारियाल खेड़ा, भौरी पर आज को दिन महिलाएं फ्री में यात्रा का लाभ उठा सकतीं हैं.

60 हजार महिलाएं उठा सकेंगी फायदा: भोपाल में एक दिन में करीब सवा लाख यात्री सिटी बसों में सफर करते हैं, इनमें से औसतन 60 हजार महिलाएं और लड़कियां होती हैं. बसों में न्यूनतम 7 रुपये और अधिकतम 42 रुपये तक किराया लिया जाता है, लेकिन आज महिलाएं फ्री में यात्रा का लाभ उठाएंगी.
