ఫ్రెంచ్ ఓపెన్​ మహిళల సింగిల్స్​లో టైటిల్​ను ఆసీస్ ప్లేయర్ ఆష్లీ బార్టీ సొంతం చేసుకుంది. ఫైనల్లో చెక్​​ క్రీడాకారిణీ వొంద్రుసోవాపై విజయం సాధించింది. 46 ఏళ్ల తర్వాత ఆస్ట్రేలియాకు ఫ్రెంచ్​ టైటిల్ దక్కింది.

ఫ్రెంచ్ ఓపెన్ మహిళల సింగిల్స్​ టైటిల్​ను ఆస్ట్రేలియా క్రీడాకారిణి ఆష్లీ బార్టీ కైవసం చేసుకుంది. ఫైనల్​లో చెక్​ రిపబ్లిక్ ప్లేయర్ వొంద్రుసోవాపై విజయం సాధించింది. ఏకపక్షంగా సాగిన మ్యాచ్​లో 6-1, 6-3 తేడాతో కేవలం 70 నిమిషాల్లోనే ఆట ముగించింది ఆసిస్ ప్లేయర్.

బార్డీకి ఇదే తొలి గ్రాండ్​స్లామ్​ టైటిల్​. ప్రస్తుతం టెన్నిస్ ర్యాంకింగ్స్​లో రెండో స్థానంలో ఉన్న బార్టీ... మ్యాచ్​ ఆరంభం నుంచే వొంద్రుసోవాపై ఆధిపత్యం చెలాయించింది.
