'ఈ ఓటమి నుంచి త్వరగా బయటపడతాం'

ఇంగ్లండ్​ చేతిలో ఓటమి నుంచి త్వరగా బయటపడేందుకు ప్రయత్నిస్తామని చెప్పాడు దక్షిణాఫ్రికా కెప్టెన్ డుప్లెసిస్. తర్వాతి మ్యాచుల్లో మెరుగ్గా రాణిస్తామని అన్నాడు.

ప్రపంచకప్​ తొలి మ్యాచ్​లో ఇంగ్లండ్​ చేతిలో 104 పరుగుల తేడాతో ఓటమి పాలైంది దక్షిణాఫ్రికా. ఈ పరిస్థితి నుంచి త్వరగా బయటపడేందుకు ప్రయత్నిస్తామని చెపుతున్నాడు సఫారీ కెప్టెన్ డుప్లెసిస్. అన్ని విభాగాల్లోనూ అనుకున్నంత మేర రాణించలేకపోయామని చెప్పాడీ బ్యాట్స్​మెన్.

STORYLINE:
Crews with bulldozers and dump trucks have removed tons of debris from the Florida Panhandle since Hurricane Michael slammed ashore last October, wrecking miles of homes and businesses.
Yet signs of the storm's fury remain everywhere as hurricane season approaches.
Michael roared on to land as a Category 5 hurricane with winds of 160 mph (257 kph) on 10 October, 2018, and many residents are praying there's not a repeat this year.
"I've already lost everything once. We can't do it again," Janelle Crosby says.
The 55-year-old has lived in a cramped recreational vehicle in Springfield since Hurricane Michael ripped apart her world more than seven months ago.
More than a half-dozen friends and relatives live in three domed tents near the front of the RV, and a daughter is just feet away in Crosby's former home, an old trailer that was split open by trees.
A homeless man lives in a tent on the other side of the RV; Crosby and her husband, Wilbur, let him stay on their little plot of property because he had nowhere else to go.
Crosby rode out the Category 5 storm at a hotel and feels fortunate, despite her living conditions and poor health - she has breast cancer - because no close friends or family died.
Yet she is terrified that hurricane season begins Saturday with her Florida Panhandle community still in ruins.
It's hard to imagine what another hurricane would do to Crosby's part of the Panhandle.
Bay County was badly hit - 25 people were killed as Michael blew ashore and about 70% of the county's homes were damaged or destroyed.
Some 20,000 people were displaced and three damaged schools remain closed, as do many businesses and apartment buildings.
Officials estimate 13 percent of the county's 185,000 residents simply left.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency provided Crosby and her husband $1,300 in aid and offered a temporary condominium nearly 15 miles away, in Panama City Beach, she said.
The family declined the housing because her husband didn't have transportation to get to his job at a transmission shop, Crosby says.
So the couple remain in the camper, shooing away the occasional rat and pooling resources with the tent dwellers.
They're also praying there's not another hurricane anytime soon.
"I don't want to live through another," Crosby says. "I don't want to ever witness what we witnessed."
