బీసీసీఐ ఎంతో ప్రతిష్టాత్మకంగా తొలి డే/నైట్ టెస్టు నిర్వహించేందుకు సిద్ధమైంది. ఈడెన్ గార్డెన్స్లో వచ్చే నెల 22-26 వరకు జరిగే ఈ మ్యాచ్లో భారత్-బంగ్లాదేశ్ తలపడనున్నాయి. దీనికి సంబంధించిన టిక్ట్ ధరలు, సమయం వివరాలను బంగాల్ క్రికెట్ అసోసియేషన్(క్యాబ్) కార్యదర్శి అవిషేక్ దాల్మియా ప్రకటించారు. టికెట్ కనీస ధర రూ.50గా ఉంటుందని చెప్పారు.

సంప్రదాయ పద్ధతిలో కాకుండా ఈ డే/నైట్ టెస్టుకు తొలి విరామం.. టీ(20 నిమిషాలు), ఆ తర్వాత సప్పర్ బ్రేక్(40 నిమిషాలు) ఉంటుంది. అంటే మూడో సెషన్స్లో అర్ధభాగం ఫ్లడ్లైట్ల వెలుగులో జరగనుంది.

STORYLINE:
The spokesperson for the UN human rights agency said on Tuesday that more needs to be done to improve the lives of people in Indian-controlled Kashmir.
Speaking at the UN headquarters in Geneva, Rupert Colville said that although a curfew imposed by India had been officially lifted, reports from the area suggest it is "still in place in large parts of the Kashmir Valley".
He also detailed allegations of excessive use of force by the security services, and "unconfirmed reports of at least six civilian killings and scores of serious injuries in separate incidents" since the Indian government stripped Kashmir of its semi-autonomous status in early August.
Since the crackdown, Colville said, "at least another six people have been killed and over a dozen injured in alleged attacks by armed group members."
Colville also expressed concern that, whilst telephones are working after restrictions were lifted, the Kashmir Valley is still without internet services.
India's decision to strip the Muslim-majority region of its constitutional rights to self-government and land ownership was accompanied by a harsh crackdown, with New Delhi sending tens of thousands of additional troops to the already heavily militarised region.
India imposed a sweeping curfew, arresting thousands and cutting virtually all communications.
Authorities have since eased some restrictions, lifting roadblocks and restoring landlines and some cellphone services.
They have encouraged students to return to school and businesses to reopen, but Kashmiris have largely stayed home, in defiance or fear amid threats of violence.
As the crackdown continues, Kashmiris have quietly refused to resume their normal lives, confounding India at their own economic expense.
Kashmir is divided between India and Pakistan but claimed by both in its entirety.
The two countries have fought two wars over control of the region.
India accuses Pakistan of arming and training rebels who have been fighting for Kashmir's independence or its merger with Pakistan since 1989.
Islamabad rejects India's charge and says it only provides moral and diplomatic support.
About 70,000 people have been killed in the armed uprising and the ensuing Indian military crackdown.
