సూపర్ స్టార్ సల్మాన్ ఖాన్ పెళ్లి కోసం బాలీవుడ్తో పాటు ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా అభిమానులు ఎదురుచూస్తున్నారు. ఈ విషయంపై ఇప్పటివరకు ఎలాంటి క్లారిటీ ఇవ్వలేదీ నటుడు. తాజాగా నటి జరీన్ ఖాన్ చేసిన వ్యాఖ్య చర్చనీయాంశంగా మారింది. సల్మాన్ తనను పెళ్లి చేసుకోబోతున్నాడని చెప్పి అందరికి షాక్ ఇచ్చింది.

ఇటీవలే ఓ ప్రముఖ ఆంగ్ల మీడియా జరీన్ను ఇంటర్వ్యూ చేయడానికి వెళ్లింది. "మీపై మీరే ఓ రూమర్ క్రియేట్ చేసుకోవాలి.. ఆ రూమర్ చాలా వైరల్ అవ్వాలి" అని విలేకరి చెప్పగా.. ఇందుకు జరీన్ "సల్మాన్ నన్ను పెళ్లి చేసుకోబోతున్నాడు" అంటూ వ్యాఖ్యానించింది.

"నాపై వచ్చే ఇలాంటి రూమర్స్ చాలా సరదాగా ఉంటాయి. నాకు పెళ్లిపై నమ్మకం లేదు. ఈ మధ్య కాలంలో పెళ్లనేది ఓ జోక్గా మారిపోయింది' అని తెలిపింది.

New Zealand's recent proposed move to decriminalize abortion and treat it as a health issue rather than a criminal offense has sparked controversy in the country.
As per a Washington Post report, women in New Zealand can now only get an abortion in exceptional cases, and if two medical professionals deem it necessary to a patient's mental or physical health.
Andrew Little from the country's Minister of Justice said it is wrong that the present law characterizes a decision a women wishes to make about her own body and her reproductive choices as criminal.
The new bill will remove any statutory test on the health practitioner for a woman who is pregnant for no more than 20 weeks, making it easier for women to terminate a pregnancy by choice rather than undergo a rigorous medical assessment.
For a woman who is more than 20 weeks pregnant, the bill requires a health practitioner to reasonably believe the abortion is appropriate with regard to the pregnant woman's physical and mental health, and well-being.
Many people in the country are welcoming the removal of the legal barriers, which often delay abortions and force women to lie about their medical condition.
"I think everyone agrees that it'll be important for women to have support if they need it - to be able to go to a doctor and then access a service really quickly," said Professor Liz Beddoe from the University of Auckland.
However, pro-life supporters argue that the decriminalization will lead to more abortions, and called abortion an act of "killing".
"As far as we're concerned it's killing a human being," said Jean Simpson, an anti-abortion protester.
To support her belief, Simpson has been praying outside an Auckland-based abortion clinic for 15 years.
"We're praying for the mothers who are aborting their children. We're praying for the babies who are dying over there in that clinic," she said.
Since some medical clinics have been subjected to anti-abortion demonstrations, the new legislation will also allow for the creation of "safe zones" around clinics and hospitals to stop protesters coming within 150 meters of the buildings.
"I know what it's like to face that harassment. And when you're doing your job or using a legal health service, it's distressing, and it will be great to have that gone," said Beddoe.
The bill has already earned an overwhelmingly pro-abortion vote in an early August voting, and two more rounds of voting remains for it to be law.
