మహారాష్ట్ర అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికలకు మందు ఎన్సీపీ నుంచి భాజపా-శివసేనలోకి భారీగా చేరికలు జరిగాయి. శరద్ పవార్ అనుచరులు, కటుంబ సభ్యులూ పార్టీని వీడారు. ఎన్సీపీ చతికిలపడటం ఖాయమని అంతా భావించారు. కానీ అంచనాలను తలకిందులు చేస్తూ అనూహ్యంగా పుంజుకుంది పవార్ పార్టీ. ఆయన పట్టుదలతో గతంలో కంటే మరో 13స్థానాల్లో నెగ్గి అధికార కూటమికి గట్టి పోటీనిచ్చింది.

సార్వత్రిక ఎన్నికల్లో ఘోర పరాభవం.. మహారాష్ట్ర అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికలకు ముందు ముఖ్య నేతలు పార్టీని వీడడం.. ఇవి చాలు ఒక పార్టీ చతికిలపడిందనడానికి. మరో వైపు కేసులు.. ప్రత్యర్థి కూటమి దూకుడు. ఇవి చాలు ఒక పార్టీ పనైపోయిందనడానికి. కానీ, ఎన్సీపీ అలా కాదు. సార్వత్రిక ఎన్నికలు జరిగి కొన్ని నెలల గడవక ముందే మళ్లీ పుంజుకుంది. భాజపా-శివసేనకు భారీ మెజార్టీ అంటూ ఎగ్జిట్‌ పోల్స్‌ అంచనాలు వేసినా.. వాటిని తలకిందులు చేస్తూ గట్టి పోటీ ఇచ్చింది. అధికారం మాట అటుంచితే సొంతంగా ప్రభుత్వం ఏర్పాటు చేయాలన్న భాజపా కలకు బ్రేక్‌ వేసింది. దీని వెనకున్నది మరెవరో కాదు.. రాజకీయ కురువృద్ధుడు, ఎన్సీపీ అధినేత 78 ఏళ్ల శరద్ పవార్.
వలసలు వెంటాడినా..
సార్వత్రిక ఎన్నికల అనంతరం మహారాష్ట్ర ఎన్నికలకు కొద్ది రోజుల ముందు రాజకీయ వలసలు జోరుగా సాగాయి. భాజపా-శివసేనలో భారీ సంఖ్యలో చేరికలు జరిగాయి. వారిలో చాలా మంది ఎన్సీపీకి చెందిన నేతలే. ముఖ్యంగా పశ్చిమ మహారాష్ట్రలోని కీలక నేతలు పార్టీని వీడారు. మరీ ముఖ్యంగా ఉదయన్‌ రాజే బోసలే పార్టీని వీడడం పెద్ద ఎదురుదెబ్బ. పవార్ అనుచరులు, కుటుంబ సభ్యులు సైతం పార్టీని వీడి భాజపాలో చేరారు. అయినా పవార్ పట్టు వీడలేదు. ప్రస్తుత అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికలతో పాటు సతార్‌ స్థానానికి జరుగుతున్న ఎన్నికల ప్రచారం సందర్భంగా వర్షంలో సైతం ఆయన ప్రసంగించిన తీరు ఓటర్లను కదిలించింది. ఆ ఘటన ప్రస్తుతం వెలువడిన ఫలితాల్లో ఎన్సీపీ అభ్యర్థి శ్రీనివాస్‌ పాటిల్‌ ఆధిక్యంలో నిలిపేలా చేసింది.
ఈడీతో ఢీ..
ఎన్నికలకు కొద్ది రోజల ముందు ఎన్‌ఫోర్స్‌మెంట్‌ డైరెక్టరేట్‌ శరద్ పవార్‌పై మనీలాండరింగ్‌ కేసు నమోదు చేసింది. అయితే, ఈడీ పిలవకపోయినప్పటికీ ఆయన విచారణకు హాజరయ్యేందుకు సిద్ధపడ్డారు. ‘ఇదంతా ఎందుకు జరుగుతోందో ప్రజలే అర్థం చేసుకుంటా’రంటూ వ్యాఖ్యానించి భాజపాను ఇరుకునపెట్టే ప్రయత్నం చేశారు. ఛత్రపతి శివాజీ గడ్డపై పుట్టిన తాము వెనుకడుగు వేయబోం అంటూ సవాల్‌ విసిరారు. ఈడీ కేసును ప్రచారాస్త్రంగా మలుచుకోవడంలో విజయవంతమయ్యారు.
ఐదు నెలల్లోనే..
ఎగ్జిట్‌ పోల్స్‌ ఎన్ని అంచనాలు వేసినా శరద్ పవార్ నేతృత్వంలోని ఎన్సీపీ తాజా అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికల ఫలితాల్లో తనదైన ముద్ర వేసింది. 2014తో పోలిస్తే స్థానాల సంఖ్యను మరింత పెంచుకుంది. 2014 ఎన్నికల్లో కేవలం 41 స్థానాలకు పరిమితమైన ఆ పార్టీ ఇప్పుడు అదనంగా మరో 13 స్థానాలను తన ఖాతాలో వేసుకుంది. పైగా 2019లో కేవలం 4 లోక్‌సభ స్థానాలకే పరిమితమైన ఆ పార్టీ ఇప్పుడు 54 అసెంబ్లీ స్థానాల్లో గెలిచింది. ఓ విధంగా ఏకచ్ఛత్రాధిపత్యం సాధించాలన్న భాజపాకు ఇది ఎదురు దెబ్బేనని చెప్పాలి. శివసేనతో మరో ఐదేళ్ల పాటు ‘కలహాల కాపురం’ చేసేందుకు సిద్ధపడేలా చేసింది ఎన్సీపీ. అందుకే పవార్.. పడిలేచిన కెరటం.
