మా పార్టీ హయాంలో ఆరు లక్షిత దాడులు: కాంగ్రెస్

తమ పార్టీ హయాంలో ఉగ్రవాదులను అణచివేసేందుకు లక్షిత దాడులు జరిపామని... కానీ సైనిక చర్యలను ఎన్నడూ రాజకీయాల కోసం వినియోగించుకోలేదని కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ ప్రకటించింది. ఆరు లక్షిత దాడులను ప్రస్తావిస్తూ ఓ జాబితాను విడుదల చేసింది. హస్తం పార్టీ ప్రకటన మోసపూరితమని భాజపా ఆరోపించింది.

ఆరుసార్లు లక్షిత దాడులు చేశాం: కాంగ్రెస్

ఉగ్రవాదులను మట్టుబెట్టేందుకు యూపీఏ హయాంలో ఆరు లక్షిత దాడులు జరిగినట్టు కాంగ్రెస్ నేడు ప్రకటించింది. అయితే సైనిక చర్యలపై ఎన్నడూ రాజకీయం చేయలేదని హస్తం పార్టీ వెల్లడించింది. ఆ ఆరు లక్షిత దాడులకు సంబంధించిన వివరాలను ఆ పార్టీ ప్రతినిధి రాజీవ్ శుక్లా వెల్లడించారు.

మసూద్ అజార్ను అంతర్జాతీయ ఉగ్రవాదిగా ఐరాస గుర్తించడం వెనుక గత ప్రభుత్వాల కృషి, విదేశాల సహకారం ఉందన్నారు శుక్లా. ప్రతీ విషయానికి 'మేము చేశాం... మేము చేశాం' అని భజన చేయడం మానుకోవాలని భాజపా నేతలకు శుక్లా సూచించారు.

"మసూద్ అజార్ను అంతర్జాతీయ ఉగ్రవాదిగా గుర్తించడం కోసం 15 ఏళ్లుగా నిరంతర ప్రక్రియ జరుగుతోంది. ఏ ఒక్క సర్కారుకో ఈ విజయాన్ని కట్టబెట్టాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు. విదేశీ ప్రభుత్వాలు ఇందుకు సహకరించాయి. వారందరికీ ధన్యవాదాలు. దేశంలో ప్రభుత్వాలు మారినా... ప్రతీ సర్కారు ఐరాసతో నిరంతరం సంప్రదింపులు జరుపుతూనే ఉంటుంది. ఈ విషయంలో నిజాన్ని గుర్తించిన వారికి కృతజ్ఞతలు. కానీ.. ఒక సర్కారుకు ఈ విజయాన్ని కట్టబెట్టడం సరికాదు. ప్రతీ విషయానికి మేము చేశాం... మేము చేశాం అని ముందుకొచ్చి చప్పట్లు కొడతారు. దయచేసి ఆపండి."

LEADIN:
New research has found that pets could be at risk of developing antibiotic-resistance because of overly affectionate owners.
In addition to over-subscribing antibiotics, the close bonds between pets and humans could be assisting the spread of antimicrobial resistance.
STORYLINE:
These dogs don't mind having extra cuddles, but new research finds the extra attention could be more harm than calm.
It has long been commonplace knowledge that over prescribing antibiotics is a factor in creating so-called 'super bugs'.
New research conducted by Glasgow's Caledonian University has found that close contact with your pet could be spreading drug-resistant bugs.
The study lead by health psychologist Dr Adele Dickson explains by, "engaging in behaviours where there's an exchange of saliva that could potentially pose a risk."
Dickson has a dog of her own but believes it is best to avoid, "letting a dog lick their mouth."
"A resistant bug could be transferred from the animal to human or vice versa. Putting plates and cups down when they're almost finished with them and letting the animal you now consume whatever it is left from the plate cup."
Scientists do say the risk of AMR (antimicrobial) transmission still remains low for most pet owners, but encourage people to adopt changes to reduce the risk.
Dr Tim Nuttal from the Royal (Dick) Veterinary School explains that overuse of pet antibiotics mean that those drugs can become ineffective.
"They are very worried often about what's going on and because an animal can't talk it's more difficult to understand what sort of symptoms are going on and so sometimes there can be this sense of responsibility and we don't want to make a mistake and therefore owners can say Well I'd like an antibiotic just in case it's an infection. "
A 2014 report commissioned by the United Kingdom projected that by 2050 drug resistance will kill more people each year than cancer and cost the world as much as $100 trillion in lost economic output.
This is not to say that you can't cuddle your furry friend but to make small changes to help stop the spread of drug-resistant bugs.
