Argentina's head coach Lionel Scaloni confirmed on Thursday that Lionel Messi has returned to the national side for their upcoming friendly against Venezuela and Morocco.
Scaloni said that Messi "wants to try again" with the national team having not played for the side since their World Cup exit in Russia in 2018.
He said: "Because of the games he saw, what we did, and they way we play, I think he is happy and he wants to try again so he is welcome."
