నంద్యాల ప్రజలకు.. ప్రభుత్వ ఆసుపత్రిలో అధునాతన వసతులు అందుబాటులోకి వచ్చాయి. ఎంఆర్ఐ మెషీన్ను ఆసుపత్రిలో ఏర్పాటు చేశారు.

కర్నూలు జిల్లా నంద్యాల ప్రభుత్వ వైద్యశాలలో ఎమ్ఆర్ఐ సేవలు అందుబాటులోకి వచ్చాయి. 7 కోట్ల 50 లక్షల రూపాయలతో ఈ మెషిన్ను ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. రోగులకు తల, వెన్నెముక, రోడ్డు ప్రమాదంలో గాయపడి చిట్లిన ఎముకల నిశిత పరిశీలన వంటి అవసరాలకు ఈ మెషిన్ ఉపయోగపడనుంది.

STORYLINE:
Palestinians are commemorating the 71st anniversary of what they call "nakba," or "catastrophe," referring to the uprooting of hundreds of thousands of Arabs by Jewish forces in 1948 with the creation of the Israeli state.
Residents in Gaza City on Wednesday took part in a general strike to mark the day of mourning and shed light on Israel's treatment of Palestinians living in occupied territories.
A mass walkout was staged in the city, with shop-owners closing up their businesses.
"It's a very sad day for Palestinians, it's a black day for our people. Seventy-one years have passed, and God willing we'll return to our homeland soon or later," said Gaza resident Baker Ibrahim (correct name.)
Following the end of World War II, Israeli forces occupied Palestinian territory driving hundreds and thousands of men, women and children to flee from their homes, becoming refugees beyond the newly formed state's borders.
More than 70 years later, hope lives on among many who fled, and their relatives, to once be able to return to their home land.
