6. 00:26 SOUNDBITE: Marta Vieira da Silva , UN Women Goodwill Ambassador, Olympian and Brazilian footballer. (Brazilian Portuguese language):
"It's wonderful to be here and join the winners of the award: Women and Sport. Perhaps the exhausting journey of work, even at home or not, gave me a short time to bother about the talks from the townspeople telling the absurdity that it was to have a girl playing football among the boys. Prejudice and lack of opportunity hurt me many times along the way, it hurt when the boys would not let me play, it hurt when adult coaches from opposing teams took me out of championships because I was just a girl. It hurt to leave my family at the age of just 14 to face a three-day bus trip ... with very little money counted in my pocket... and then to live alone in Rio de Janeiro to play professional soccer."
7. 01:25 Wide shot of all the IOC 2019 Women and Sport Award winners.
8. 01:36 SOUNDBITE: Thomas Bach, IOC President (English):
"This is the showcase for the engagement of the IOC for Women in Sports and I think it is extremely important to show the role models, women and men, who are really promoting gender equality - and who are standing for gender equality across all five continents."

STORYLINE:
The International Olympic Committee's (IOC) Women and Sport Awards 2019 have been held at the United Nations headquarters in New York, USA on Tuesday.
The IOC celebrated six role models and ambassadors who have helped advanced women and girls in and through sport, in partnership with the UN Women's movement.
The IOC Women and Sport Trophy represents opportunity, recognition and empowerment.
There were six awards - one global and five continental winners - all recognised at the ceremony, attended by IOC President Thomas Bach.
The event featured powerful speeches from key women across the sporting world.
However, the most emotional address at the event was given by UN Women Goodwill Ambassador, Olympian and renowned Brazilian soccer player Marta Vieira da Silva.
She gave a memorable and tearful account of the prejudice and lack of opportunity she encountered in her development as a footballer at home in Brazil - before she had to leave home at the age of just 14 to realise her dreams in Rio de Janeiro.
The scorer of 110 goals in 133 internationals for her country, Marta has been compared by her compatriots with Brazilian great Pelé, being called "Pelé with skirts."
The great man himself has also agreed with the comparison made with the five-time FIFA Women's World Player of the Year.
