பூமியின் நுரையீரல் 'அமேசான்' இல்லாமல் நாம் இல்லை - ஜி.வி. பிரகாஷ்

அமேசான் காடுகிளில் ஏற்பட்ட தீவிபத்து மிகுந்த மனவருத்தத்தையும் விலங்கினங்களுக்கு மிகுந்த அச்சுறுத்தலையும் ஏற்படுத்த்தி உள்ளதாக நடிகர் ஜி.வி. பிரகாஷ் தனது ட்விட்டர் பக்கத்தில் பதிவிட்டுள்ளார்.

உலகின் நுரையீரல் என்று கூறப்படும் அமேசான மழைக்காடுகளில் கடந்த இரண்டு வாரங்களாக காட்டுத் தீ எரிந்துவருகிறது. இதனால் அங்கு வசித்துவரும் உயிரினங்கள் மிகவும் அவதிப்பட்டு வருகின்றன.

மேலும் பிரேசில் நாட்டின் பல பகுதிகள், காட்டுத் தீயால் புகை மூட்டத்துடன் காணப்படுகிறது. பிரேசிலின் விண்வெளி ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனம் கடந்த ஆண்டைவிட இந்த ஆண்டு 80 விழுக்காடு, காட்டுத் தீயின் எண்ணிக்கை அதிகரித்துள்ளதாகக் கூறியிருக்கிறது. மேலும் 99 விழுக்காடு தீ விபத்து, மனிதர்களால் தெரிந்தோ தெரியாமலோ உருவாக்கப்படுகிறது எனவும் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

இந்நிலையில், அமேசான் காடுகளில் எரிந்து வரும் தீ குறித்து இசையமைப்பாளரும், நடிகருமான ஜி.வி. பிரகாஷ் தனது ட்விட்டர் பக்கத்தில், ”உலகின் நுரையீரலான அமேசான் மழைக் காட்டில் தீ எரிந்துவருகிறது. இந்த காடு பல்வேறு உயிரினங்களுக்கும் பல்வேறு மதிப்புமிக்க தாவரங்களுக்கும், மரங்களுக்கும் வீடாக இருக்கிறது. உலகின் முக்கிய வாயுவான ஆக்ஸிஜன் உற்பத்தியில் இதன் பங்கு மிக முக்கியமான ஒன்று” என பதிவிட்டுள்ளார்.

இதற்கிடையே அமேசான் காட்டுத் தீ தொடர்பாக சமூக வலைதளங்களில் #SaveTheAmazon, #PrayForTheAmazon என்ற ஹேஷ்டேக்கில் பலரும் தங்களது வருத்தத்தை பதிவு செய்து வருகின்றனர்.
