ஜவஹர்லால் நேரு பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் வன்முறைக்கு எதிராக இன்று பேரணி நடத்தப்பட்டது. அப்போது ஜேஎன்யூ மாணவர் சங்கத்தின் தலைவர் அய்ஷே கோஷ் உள்ளிட்ட பல மாணவர்கள் மீது அடையாளம் தெரியாத நபர்கள் கொடூரத் தாக்குதல் நடத்தினர். இந்தத் தாக்குதலில் காயமடைந்த 18 பேர் எய்ம்ஸ் மருத்துவமனையில் சிகிச்சைக்காக அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.
இந்நிலையில், இந்தத் தாக்குலுக்கு பல தலைவர்கள் தங்கள் கண்டனங்களைப் பதிவு செய்துவருகின்றனர். திமுக தலைவர் ஸ்டாலின், "முகமூடி அணிந்திருந்த நபர்கள் ஜேஎன்யூ மாணவர்கள் மீது நடத்திய தாக்குதலைக் கண்டு அதிர்ச்சியடைந்தேன். குடியுரிமை திருத்தச் சட்டம் நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டதிலிருந்து மாணவர்கள் மீது அதிகரிக்கும் வன்முறை சம்பவங்களுக்கு திமுக சார்பில் கண்டனங்களை தெரிவித்துக்கொள்கிறேன். இந்தச் சம்பவத்துக்கு காரணமானவர்கள் மீது நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டும்" என்று தனது ட்விட்டர் பக்கதில் பதிவிட்டுள்ளார்.
