ਮੁੰਬਈ: ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟਰ ਕ੍ਰੂਨਾਲ ਪਾਂਡਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੰਬਈ ਏਅਰਪੋਰਟ 'ਤੇ ਪੁੱਛਗਿੱਛ ਲਈ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ 'ਚ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਕ੍ਰੂਨਲ ਪਾਂਡਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਯੂ.ਏ.ਈ. ਤੋਂ ਅਣਪਛਾਤੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਆਉਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਰੋਕਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਆਈ.ਪੀ.ਐਲ. ਵਿੱਚ ਕ੍ਰੂਨਲ ਮੁੰਬਈ ਇੰਡੀਅਨਜ਼ ਲਈ ਖੇਡਦੇ ਹਨ। ਮੁੰਬਈ ਇੰਡੀਅਨਜ਼ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ 10 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਈ.ਪੀ.ਐਲ. ਦਾ ਖਿਤਾਬ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ ਸੀ। ਵੀਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਟੀਮ ਦੇ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਯੂ.ਏ.ਈ. ਤੋਂ ਭਾਰਤ ਪਰਤੇ ਹਨ।
ਡੀ.ਆਰ.ਆਈ. ਦੇ ਸੂਤਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟਰ ਕ੍ਰੂਨਲ ਪਾਂਡਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਅਰਬ ਅਮੀਰਾਤ ਤੋਂ ਪਰਤਣ ਵੇਲੇ ਅਣ-ਘੋਸ਼ਿਤ ਸੋਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਸਮਾਨ ਰੱਖਣ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੱਕ ਦੇ ਅਧਾਰ ‘ਤੇ ਮੁੰਬਈ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ ‘ਤੇ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟੋਰੇਟ ਆਫ਼ ਰੈਵੇਨਿਊ ਇੰਟੈਲੀਜੈਂਸ (ਡੀਆਰਆਈ) ਨੇ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ।

ਕ੍ਰੂਨਲ ਨੇ ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੂ.ਏ.ਈ. ਵਿੱਚ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਇੰਡੀਅਨ ਪ੍ਰੀਮੀਅਰ ਲੀਗ (ਆਈਪੀਐਲ) ਦੇ 13ਵੇਂ ਸੀਜ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੰਬਈ ਇੰਡੀਅਨਜ਼ ਲਈ ਖੇਡਿਆ ਸੀ। ਰੋਹਿਤ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਲੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਟੂਰਨਾਮੈਂਟ ਦੇ ਫਾਈਨਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਕੈਪੀਟਲ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਮੰਗਲਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਪੰਜਵਾਂ ਆਈਪੀਐਲ ਖ਼ਿਤਾਬ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ। ਫਰੈਂਚਾਇਜ਼ੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ 2013, 2015, 2017 ਅਤੇ 2019 ਵਿਚ ਟੂਰਨਾਮੈਂਟ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ ਸੀ।
