ਅੱਤਵਾਦ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਣੇ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ: ਅਮਿਤ ਸ਼ਾਹ

ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ 'ਚ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ UAPA 'ਚ ਸੋਧ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਬਿਲ ਪਾਸ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ 'ਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅੱਤਵਾਦ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਜਾਣ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ: Unlawfull Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) 'ਚ ਸੋਧ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਬਿਲ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਸ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਬਿਲ 'ਤੇ ਵੋਟਿੰਗ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਨੇ ਵਾਕ ਆਊਟ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਚਰਚਾ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਮਿਤ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰਦਾਰ ਹਮਲੇ ਕੀਤੇ। ਚਰਚਾ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਅਮਿਤ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅੱਤਵਾਦ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ 'ਚ 'ਅਰਬਨ ਨਕਸਲੀਆਂ' ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਕੋਈ ਤਰਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।

ਅਮਿਤ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੇ ਮਨ 'ਚ ਅੱਤਵਾਦ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਸੰਗਠਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੈਨ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਅੱਤਵਾਦ ਘੋਸ਼ਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਬਿਲ ਲਿਆਣਾ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ, ਚੀਨ, ਇਜ਼ਰਾਇਲ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਵਰਗੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦਾ ਉਦਾਹਰਣ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅੱਤਵਾਦ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਦੀ ਜਰੂਰਤ ਹੈ।
