ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ: ਜੰਮੂ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਤੇ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਕਾਨਫ਼ਰੰਸ ਦੇ ਨੇਤਾ ਉਮਰ ਅਬਦੁੱਲਾ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਪੱਕਰ ਰੋਡ 'ਤੇ ਸਥਿਤ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੋਠੀ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਇੱਕ ਬੰਗਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਿਫ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਸੂਤਰਾਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਿਕ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੀਡੀਪੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮਹਿਬੂਬਾ ਮੁਫ਼ਤੀ ਦੀ ਥਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਦਲੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਦੱਸ ਦਈਏ ਉਮਰ ਅਬਦੁੱਲਾ ਹੁਣ ਗੁਪੱਕਰ ਰੋਡ 'ਤੇ ਹਰਿ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਗੈਸਟ ਹਾਊਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ।
49 ਸਾਲਾ ਉਮਰ ਅਬਦੁੱਲਾ ਨੂੰ ਜੰਮੂ-ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਦੇ 2 ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀਆਂ (ਫ਼ਾਰੂਕ ਅਬਦੁੱਲਾ ਤੇ ਮਹਿਬੂਬਾ ਮੁਫ਼ਤੀ) ਦੇ ਨਾਲ 5 ਅਗਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਧਾਰਾ 370 ਨੂੰ ਹਟਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿਚ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। 5 ਅਗਸਤ ਨੂੰ, ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਜੰਮੂ-ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸੂਬੇ ਦਾ ਦਰਜਾ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਤੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ 2 ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡਣ ਦਾ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
ਸੂਤਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਕਦਮ ਅਗਲੇ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਮੰਤਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਫ਼ਦ ਦੇ ਸੰਭਾਵਿਤ ਦੌਰੇ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਅਗਲੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਡੋਨਾਲਡ ਟਰੰਪ ਦੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਦੌਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਦਿਆਂ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਉਮਰ ਅਬਦੁੱਲਾ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਪੰਜ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਗੈਸਟ ਹਾਊਸ ਹਰੀ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਵਿਚ ਨਜ਼ਰਬੰਦ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ 82 ਸਾਲਾ ਫ਼ਾਰੂਕ ਅਬਦੁੱਲਾ ਨੂੰ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਜ਼ਰਬੰਦ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

The state government which banned the single-use plastics are now finding it difficult to manage the growing waste generation even after the ban.
To improve the plastic management practices, this college in Surumangalam region has started to re-engineer the waste plastic into raw materials to be used in construction material.
Plastic wastes such as bottles, containers and other utensils once broken are crushed into pellets are mixed with construction materials like concrete and bricks. Similarly, plastic bags are burned and bitumen, fly ash and other by-products are mixed while making bricks providing a solid core of building materials.
If the plastics are lightweight and the bricks made out of them are used in making buildings, it acts as weather resistance and provides low budget options in house construction projects.
Such better ways to successfully manage the plastic waste will go a long way in supporting a campaign for a plastic-free India.
