ଗଜପତି: ପାରଳାଖେମୁଣ୍ଡି ପୋଲିସକୁ ମିଳିଛି ବଡ ସଫଳତା । ଏଥିସହ ବେଆଇନ ଗୁଟକା ବେପାରୀଙ୍କୁ ଜୋରଦାର ଝଟକା ଲାଗିଛି । ସୂଚନାନୁସାରେ ପାରଳାଖେମୁଣ୍ଡି ଥାନା ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଗୁରୁବାର ପୋଲିସ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଅତର୍କିତ ଚଢାଉ କରାଯାଇଛି । ଚଢାଉ ବେଳେ ବିପୁଳ ପରିମାଣର ଗୁଟକା ଜବତ କରିଛି ପୋଲିସ ।

ଏହାସହିତ କାରବାରରେ ସମ୍ପୃକ୍ତ ଥିବା 2 ଜଣ ଅଭିଯୁକ୍ତକୁ ଗିରଫ କରାଯାଇଛି । ଗିରଫ ଅଭିଯୁକ୍ତ ହେଲେ ରାଣୀପେଣ୍ଠର ରାମବାବୁ ରେଡ୍ଡି ଏବଂ ପାରଳାଖେମୁଣ୍ଡି କୁମୁଟି ସାହିର କୋରଡା ତାରକେଶ୍ବର । ତେବେ ଜବତ ଗୁଟକାର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ଆନୁମାନିକ ମୂଲ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାୟ 20 ଲକ୍ଷ ଟଙ୍କା ହେବ । ଏସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ଆୟୋଜିତ ଏକ ସାମ୍ବାଦିକ ସମ୍ମିଳନୀରେ ଏସପି ସାରା ଶର୍ମା ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ।

ପାରଳାଖେମୁଣ୍ଡି ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଏହି 2 ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ବେଆଇନ ଗୁଟକା କାରବାର ଚଳାଉଥିବା ଖବର ପୋଲିସକୁ ମିଳିଥିଲା । ସୂଚନା ପାଇବା ପରେ ପୋଲିସ ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନ ଗୁଡିକରେ ଚଢାଉ କରିଥିବା ଏସପି କହିଛନ୍ତି । ଉକ୍ତ କାରବାରରେ ଅନ୍ୟ କେହି ସାମିଲ ଅଛନ୍ତି କି ନାହିଁ ସେ ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ଜାଣିବାକୁ ପୋଲିସ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ତଦନ୍ତ ଜାରି ରହିଥିବା ଏସପି ଶର୍ମା ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ।

"A CBP narcotics detective dog alerted and we discovered 13 large black duffel bags that contained a combined 450 bricks of a white powdery substance. A sampling of that substance tested positive for cocaine. Late Tuesday night we weighed the cocaine at 536 kilograms or 1185 pounds and 3 ounces. The cocaine has a street value of approximately 38 millions dollars."

"The container was landed in Guatemala and then the vessel hit the Bahamas and transited to the United States and it was continued on foreign. So at any point, at any port, at any point, the duffle bags could have been placed inside the container."

STORYLINE:
Federal agents seized a massive amount of cocaine from a shipping container at the Port of Philadelphia.
A U.S. Customs & Border Protection official said 1,185 pounds of cocaine were seized.
The official estimated the street value of the cocaine to be 38 millions dollars.
Multiple agencies were involved in the seizure of contraband at the port.
Agencies assisting Tuesday morning included Delaware State Police, Pennsylvania State Police, Philadelphia police and the U.S. Coast Guard.
Last week, CBP says agents seized 3,200 pounds of cocaine worth approximately $77 million at Port New York/Newark.
