କିରଣ ରିଜିଜୁ ଟ୍ବିଟ୍‌ରେ ଲେଖିଛନ୍ତି, "ଭାରତୀୟ ଅଲମ୍ପିକ ସଂଘର ସଭାପତି ନିର୍ବାଚିତ ହୋଇଥିବାରୁ କିମ୍ବଦନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଗୋଲ୍ଡେନ ଗାର୍ଲ ପିଟି ଉଷାଙ୍କୁ ଅନେକ ଶୁଭେଚ୍ଛା । ସମ୍ମାନଜନକ ଭାରତୀୟ ଅଲମ୍ପିକ ସଂଘର ଅନ୍ୟ ସଦସ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ମୁଁ ଶୁଭେଚ୍ଛା ଜଣାଉଛି । କ୍ରୀଡାବିତ୍‌ରୁ ପ୍ରଶାସକ ହୋଇଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ହିରୋଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଦେଶ ଗର୍ବିତ ।" ପୂର୍ବରୁ ପିଟି ଉଷା ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ପଦ ପାଇଁ ନାମାଙ୍କନ ଦାଖଲ କରୁଥିବା ଜଣାଇଥିଲେ ।

ଶନିବାର ପିଟି ଉଷା ଟ୍ବିଟ୍‌ରେ ଲେଖିଥିଲେ, "ଜାତୀୟ ସଂଘ ଓ ସହଯୋଗୀ ଆଥଲେଟ୍‌ଙ୍କ ସମର୍ଥନ ପାଇଁ କୃତଜ୍ଞ, ଭାରତୀୟ ଅଲମ୍ପିକ ସଂଘର ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ପଦ ପାଇଁ ନାମାଙ୍କନ ଦାଖଲ କରୁଥିବାରୁ ଗର୍ବିତ ଓ କୃତଜ୍ଞ ।"

ଭାରତୀୟ କ୍ରୀଡା ପ୍ରାଧୀକରଣ(SAI) ମଧ୍ୟ ରିଜିଜୁଙ୍କ ଟ୍ବିଟ୍‌କୁ ରିଟ୍ବିଟ କରିଛି । ଷ୍ଟାର ଧାବିକା ଉଷା ଭାରତର ଅନ୍ୟତମ ମହାନତମ ଆଥଲେଟ୍‌ ରହିଛନ୍ତି । ଏସିଆନ ଗେମ୍ସରେ ୪ଟି ସ୍ବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଓ ୭ଟି ରୌପ୍ୟ ପଦକ ଭାରତ ପାଇଁ ଜିତିଛନ୍ତି ଉଷା । ୧୯୮୪ ଲସ୍‌ ଆଞ୍ଜଲିସ ଅଲମ୍ପିକ୍‌ସରେ ମାତ୍ର ୧/୧୦୦ ସେକେଣ୍ଡ ପାଇଁ ଅଳ୍ପକେ ୪୦୦ ମିଟର ମହିଳା ହର୍ଡଲ୍ସରେ ପଦକ ବିଜୟରୁ ବଞ୍ଚିତ ହୋଇଥିଲେ ଉଷା । ଲସ୍‌ ଆଞ୍ଜଲିସରେ ତାଙ୍କର ଟାଇମିଂ ଥିଲା ୫୫.୪୨ ସେକେଣ୍ଡ ଯାହାକି ଏଯାବତ ନ୍ୟାସନାଲ ରେକର୍ଡ ଭାବେ ଅତୁଟ ରହିଛି ।
